Best LinkedIn Automation Tools in 2026: Safe Limits and Prices

Eight tools for automated LinkedIn outreach compared on the activity caps each vendor sets, the price per LinkedIn account, and the cost of a three-rep team.

TL;DR

Dripify is the best LinkedIn automation tool for most sales teams in 2026: Pro costs $59 per user a month billed annually, runs in the cloud from a dedicated IP, and caps each account at 75 connection requests a day. HeyReach is the pick for agencies running many LinkedIn accounts, Expandi has the most safety controls, and La Growth Machine is the best value for LinkedIn plus email at $60 per identity a month billed annually.

No tool makes automation risk-free: LinkedIn's User Agreement bans bots that add contacts or send messages, so the vendor's caps and your own pacing decide how exposed an account is. Prices were checked on each vendor's pricing page on 21 October 2026.

Key facts8 tools compared: Dripify, HeyReach, Expandi, La Growth Machine, Waalaxy, lemlist, Skylead…
  • Updated: November 5, 2026
  • Top pick: Dripify (best for: Solo sellers and small sales teams that want LinkedIn and email sequences with clear daily limits)
  • Top pick price as of November 5, 2026: Dripify: Pro $59 per user/mo billed annually, higher on monthly billing; 7-day free trial, no card
  • 8 tools compared: Dripify, HeyReach, Expandi, La Growth Machine, Waalaxy, lemlist, Skylead, PhantomBuster
  • HeyReach (best for: Agencies and outbound teams running many LinkedIn accounts from one login): Growth $63 per sender/mo billed yearly ($756); Agency bundles from $799/mo billed yearly
  • Expandi (best for: Teams that rank account safety first and want control over warm-up and limit ranges): Business $99/mo on monthly billing, 20% less billed annually; 7-day free trial
  • La Growth Machine (best for: Small teams that want LinkedIn and email in one sequence at the lowest price per account): Basic $60 per identity/mo billed annually, $70 monthly; 14-day free trial

A LinkedIn automation tool is software that sends connection requests, messages and follow-ups from your LinkedIn account on a schedule, usually as a sequence that can also include email steps.

The eight tools here do that same core job, so the real differences are price per LinkedIn account and how hard each vendor caps your activity. A cheap tool with loose limits is the expensive one if your account gets restricted in week two.

Toolradar data: Toolradar, the software directory we run, evaluated 152 sales engagement tools for its October 2026 ranking, and only 2 of its 10 top picks offer a free plan (sales engagement tools on Toolradar).

Dripify and Waalaxy sit in that same category. For buyers, that means paying from the first month after a trial is normal, so the meaningful comparison is the cost per sender over a year. MarketingShot is published by Dupple, whose newsletters are sent on beehiiv, a newsletter platform that is not ranked here.

If email carries most of your outbound and LinkedIn is a side channel, start with our cold email software ranking instead; this page is for teams where LinkedIn is the main channel.

Pro $59 per user/mo billed annually, higher on monthly billing; 7-day free trial, no card

Best for: Solo sellers and small sales teams that want LinkedIn and email sequences with clear daily limits

  • Pricing page lists the daily quota: 75 connection requests, 100+ messages and 30 InMails per account
  • LinkedIn and email steps run in one sequence on both paid plans, with 100 email finder credits
  • Works with free LinkedIn accounts; Sales Navigator is optional

Cons

  • Each seat connects one LinkedIn account, so a five-rep team pays for five seats

2 HeyReach logo

HeyReach

LinkedIn outreach priced per sender, with unlimited users, separate client workspaces and flat agency bundles.

Pricing
Growth $63 per sender/mo billed yearly ($756); Agency bundles from $799/mo billed yearly

Best for: Agencies and outbound teams running many LinkedIn accounts from one login

Pros

  • Charges per LinkedIn sender, not per user, so teammates, VAs and clients join free
  • Agency plan covers 25 senders for $9,590 billed yearly, with white label included
  • API, webhooks and an MCP server connect it to Clay, HubSpot and AI agents

Cons

  • No native email sending: multichannel runs through the Instantly and Smartlead integrations
  • Enrichment credits are a one-time allocation of 100 per sender, not a monthly refill
3 Expandi logo

Expandi

A cloud LinkedIn tool built around safety settings: a dedicated country-based IP, profile warm-up and adjustable limit ranges.

Pricing
Business $99/mo on monthly billing, 20% less billed annually; 7-day free trial

Best for: Teams that rank account safety first and want control over warm-up and limit ranges

  • You set ranges for connections, messages, InMails and event invites, and Expandi will not exceed them
  • Mobile Connector campaigns add up to 100 connection requests a week beyond the usual quota

Cons

  • One plan only below 10 seats, at a higher entry price than Dripify or La Growth Machine
  • Video personalization is a paid add-on through Senspark
4 La Growth Machine logo

La Growth Machine

A multichannel sequencer billed per identity, with LinkedIn, email and lead enrichment in every plan.

Pricing
Basic $60 per identity/mo billed annually, $70 monthly; 14-day free trial

Best for: Small teams that want LinkedIn and email in one sequence at the lowest price per account

Pros

  • Basic includes 250 enriched leads a month and one sending email per identity
  • Billed per identity running campaigns, so teammates who only answer replies need no identity
  • Pro adds 400 enriched leads and 5 sending emails per identity for inbox rotation

Cons

  • Basic stops at 3 identities, so a fourth rep forces the team onto Pro at $110 per identity
  • Prices change with four billing terms and three currencies, which makes quotes harder to compare
5 Waalaxy logo

Waalaxy

A beginner-friendly LinkedIn prospecting tool with pre-built sequences and invitation caps set per month.

Pricing
Check the current price on Waalaxy's site; 14-day free trial; 300 to 800 invites a month

Best for: Founders and freelancers starting LinkedIn prospecting who want a simple tool with low monthly caps

Pros

  • Pro's monthly invitation cap is a conservative pace for a first campaign on a new account
  • Monthly, quarterly and yearly billing, with up to 50% off on the yearly term
  • Business adds cold email sequences and 500 email finder credits a month

Cons

  • Advanced and Business share the same invitation cap, so paying for Business buys email, not more LinkedIn volume
  • Email sequences need the top Business plan
6 lemlist logo

lemlist

An outbound platform where LinkedIn automation is one channel inside email-led sequences with a built-in lead database.

Pricing
Multichannel $87 per user/mo billed yearly, $109 monthly; Email plan has no LinkedIn steps

Best for: Email-first teams that want LinkedIn, calls and SMS as extra steps in one sequence

Pros

  • Multichannel includes 5 senders per user and unlimited emails and messages
  • 650M+ lead database, email and phone finder, and warm-up on every plan
  • Calls, SMS and a WhatsApp add-on sit in the same sequence as LinkedIn steps

Cons

  • The $55 Email plan excludes LinkedIn automation, so LinkedIn starts at $87 per user
  • The most expensive per-user option here for a team that only needs LinkedIn
7 Skylead logo

Skylead

A single-plan outreach tool combining LinkedIn automation with unlimited email accounts and 100,000 emails a month.

Pricing
All-in-one $100 per seat/mo; annual plan through sales (pay 10 months); 7-day free trial

Best for: Teams that want LinkedIn plus high-volume email in one seat without a separate email tool

Pros

  • One seat includes unlimited email accounts, 100,000 emails a month and warm-up
  • Email finder and verifier, smart sequences and API access in the single plan
  • Account-based prospecting, a B2B database and post signals come in the same plan

Cons

  • $100 per seat a month is the highest entry price among the per-seat sequencers here
  • Annual pricing is negotiated with sales rather than listed as a checkout option
8 PhantomBuster logo

PhantomBuster

A workflow automation platform priced by automation slots and execution hours, with LinkedIn among its main sources.

Pricing
Start $56/mo billed annually ($672); unlimited users; 14-day free trial, no card

Best for: Growth and ops teams that extract LinkedIn data into a CRM or spreadsheet rather than run conversations

Pros

  • Unlimited users on every plan, so a whole team shares one subscription
  • Start includes 5 automation slots, 20 hours of execution and 500 email credits a month
  • An MCP server lets Claude or ChatGPT trigger workflows

Cons

  • Its core job, extracting profile data, is the scraping that LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits
  • No shared inbox or reply handling: it feeds other outreach tools rather than replacing them

What it is

LinkedIn automation tools fall into three groups. Cloud sequencers (Dripify, Expandi, HeyReach, Waalaxy, La Growth Machine, Skylead) log into your account from their servers and run campaigns while your laptop is off.

Multichannel outbound platforms such as lemlist treat LinkedIn as one step in a sequence that is mostly email. Data and workflow tools such as PhantomBuster are built to extract profiles and feed other systems rather than to hold conversations.

Billing follows the same split. Most sequencers charge per LinkedIn account (called a seat, a sender or an identity), so cost grows with headcount. HeyReach also sells flat multi-sender bundles for agencies, and PhantomBuster charges for automation slots and execution hours with unlimited users.

Our lemlist alternatives guide covers the email-first side of this market in more depth.

How it works

You connect a LinkedIn account, import a list (usually a Sales Navigator search, a CSV or a CRM segment) and build a sequence: view the profile, send an invite, wait for acceptance, then send two or three messages, with an email step if the tool supports it.

The tool spaces those actions out within daily or monthly limits. Dripify publishes its quotas on its pricing page: up to 75 connection requests, 100+ messages and 30 Sales Navigator InMails a day per account. Waalaxy sets its cap per month instead, at 300 invitations on Pro and 800 on Advanced and Business.

Replies land in a shared inbox in most tools, which matters more than it sounds for a team. Without it, a rep has to log into each LinkedIn account to see who answered, and leads go cold.

Why it matters

LinkedIn's User Agreement (effective 3 November 2025) says members will not use bots or other unauthorized automated methods to add contacts or send messages, and will not use software, scripts or browser plugins to scrape profiles.

Every tool on this list automates actions that clause names. The practical question is how much risk a team accepts, and which tool keeps volume low enough to stay unnoticed.

That is why this ranking weighs safety features (dedicated IPs, warm-up, published caps) alongside price. A rep whose account is restricted loses their network for prospecting, which costs far more than a year of any plan here.

For the email half of the sequence, our cold email statistics show what reply rates to expect.

Key features to look for

Published activity caps
Dripify prints a daily connection quota and Waalaxy prints a monthly invitation cap per plan. A visible ceiling lets a manager plan volume per rep, which a vague promise of smart limits does not.
Dedicated IP and cloud sending
Expandi and Dripify run campaigns from a dedicated IP tied to your location, so the account does not appear to log in from a new country each day.
Shared inbox for replies
HeyReach, Waalaxy and La Growth Machine group replies from every account in one inbox, which is what makes a multi-rep setup workable.
Email steps in the same sequence
Dripify, La Growth Machine, lemlist and Skylead send email natively, Waalaxy adds it on Business, and HeyReach relies on its Instantly and Smartlead integrations.

Pricing

Price per LinkedIn account is the number that scales. Most of these tools bill per seat, sender or identity, so a team of three pays three times the headline price. The table below prices a three-rep team for a year on yearly billing, the term that most vendors discount.
Three LinkedIn accounts for one year on yearly billing, from each vendor's pricing page, 21 October 2026. Totals are our arithmetic: the printed yearly charge where the vendor prints one, otherwise the printed monthly rate times 12.
PlanBilled perThree accounts, one year
Dripify ProUser (one LinkedIn account each)$2,124
HeyReach GrowthSender$2,268
Expandi BusinessSeat$2,844
La Growth Machine BasicIdentity$2,160
Waalaxy ProCheck the current price on Waalaxy's site
lemlist MultichannelUser$3,132
Skylead All-in-one, annualSeat, 10 months paid for 12$3,000
PhantomBuster StartAccount, unlimited users$672
Three findings stand out. Dripify, La Growth Machine and HeyReach land within $144 of each other for a three-rep team, so the choice between them is about features, not price. lemlist costs about $1,000 more than Dripify for the same three accounts because its LinkedIn steps sit on the Multichannel plan. And scale changes the order: 25 senders on HeyReach's Agency plan cost $9,590 a year, while 25 Dripify Pro seats come to $17,700 by the same arithmetic. PhantomBuster is cheapest on paper, but it is a data extraction tool rather than a conversation tool, so it rarely replaces a sequencer. Methodology: we read the pricing pages of Dripify, HeyReach, Expandi, La Growth Machine, Waalaxy, lemlist, Skylead and PhantomBuster on 21 October 2026, plus LinkedIn's User Agreement. Picks are ranked on the activity caps and safety features each vendor documents, LinkedIn and email coverage, team features and the yearly cost per account. Mistakes to avoid
×Buying on the per-user headline price. Most tools bill per LinkedIn account, so three reps pay three times.
×Starting a new account at full speed. Expandi builds in a warm-up because a sudden jump in activity is the pattern that gets noticed.
×Comparing a daily cap with a monthly one. Dripify limits connection requests per day while Waalaxy limits invitations per month, so convert both to a week before choosing.
×Expecting lemlist's Email plan to cover LinkedIn. LinkedIn steps start on Multichannel.
×Using a scraping workflow as an outreach tool. PhantomBuster extracts data; it does not manage replies.
Expert tips
→Run the trial on one account at a low daily volume and raise it weekly, not on day one.
→Count LinkedIn accounts, not users, before you compare quotes, and include anyone who will send.
→If you manage clients, price HeyReach's Agency bundle against per-seat plans once you pass about ten senders.

The bottom line

Start with Dripify if you run one to five LinkedIn accounts and want published daily quotas, cloud sending and email steps without a second tool.

Choose HeyReach once you manage many senders or clients, Expandi if safety settings matter more than price, and La Growth Machine if you want LinkedIn and email at the lowest cost per account for up to three people.

Waalaxy suits a first campaign, lemlist suits email-led teams, Skylead suits teams that want heavy email volume in the same seat, and PhantomBuster belongs in a data pipeline, not a conversation. Whatever you pick, keep volume modest: LinkedIn's terms ban automated messaging, so pacing protects the account more than any feature.

For the tools around the sequence, see our Clay review for enrichment, our lemlist review and lemlist pricing breakdown, the Instantly vs Smartlead comparison for HeyReach's email partners, and our AI tools for social media if LinkedIn content is part of the plan.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best LinkedIn automation tools in 2026?

Dripify is the best pick for most sales teams: Pro costs $59 per user a month billed annually, runs in the cloud and publishes a daily cap on connection requests per account. HeyReach is best for agencies with many senders, Expandi for safety controls, and La Growth Machine for LinkedIn plus email at $60 per identity a month billed annually. Prices were read on vendor pages on 21 October 2026.

Is LinkedIn automation allowed?

No. LinkedIn's User Agreement, effective 3 November 2025, says members will not use bots or other unauthorized automated methods to add contacts or send messages, and bans software or browser plugins that scrape profiles. Every tool on this list automates those actions, so the risk is account restriction. Low daily volume, gradual warm-up and a dedicated IP reduce how visible the activity is, but none removes the risk.

How many connection requests can a LinkedIn automation tool send safely?

Vendors set their own caps. Dripify's pricing page lists up to 75 connection requests and 100+ messages a day per account. Waalaxy caps invitations at 300 a month on Pro and 800 on Advanced and Business. Expandi lets you set limit ranges and warms up new accounts gradually. Starting below these caps and raising volume weekly is the cautious approach.

How much does LinkedIn automation cost for a team of three?

On yearly billing, by our arithmetic from vendor pricing pages in October 2026: Dripify Pro comes to $2,124 for three accounts, La Growth Machine Basic $2,160, HeyReach Growth $2,268, Expandi $2,844, Skylead $3,000 and lemlist Multichannel $3,132. Monthly billing costs more on every one of them; Expandi, for example, is $99 a month per account on monthly terms.

Which LinkedIn automation tool is best for agencies?

HeyReach. It charges per LinkedIn sender rather than per user, so clients and VAs join free, and its Agency plan covers 25 senders for $799 a month billed yearly, with white label included. Expandi also sells an agency plan for 10 or more seats, priced through sales.

Do LinkedIn automation tools need Sales Navigator?

Not always. Dripify says it works with every LinkedIn account type, including free accounts, and treats Sales Navigator as optional for better search filters. Sales Navigator is a separate LinkedIn subscription, so add its cost to any tool's price if your lists come from it.
