lemlist Review
What lemlist costs in 2026, what its 14-day trial covers, and how it stacks up against Instantly, Smartlead and Saleshandy on price and channel mix.
lemlist is worth it when your outbound mixes email, LinkedIn and calls in one sequence. The Email plan starts at $69 a month billed monthly or $55 billed yearly for 50,000 emails with unlimited users. The Multichannel plan, which adds LinkedIn and calls, is $109 a month or $87 billed yearly per user.
The catch is what it costs as volume grows and what sits outside the plan. The Email price climbs to $359 a month at 500,000 emails, and data credits are a separate purchase. If you only need email, compare the Email plan with Instantly and Smartlead before you commit. The 14-day trial needs no credit card and covers the Multichannel features except in-app calls, so you can test your sequence before you pay.

lemlistlemlist sells two channel packages, and the price gap between them decides whether it is worth the money. If your sequences only send email, lemlist is a premium choice. If they also reach people on LinkedIn and by phone, the Multichannel plan puts those channels in one sequence.
This review covers the plans as listed on lemlist's own pricing page, the trial terms, the add-ons that change the real bill, and how the platform compares with Instantly, Smartlead and Saleshandy.
Methodology: plan prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, verified in October 2026. The Toolradar figure comes from its live directory. The pricing page carries no inbox placement figures, and we have not run a campaign through lemlist ourselves, so deliverability is not scored here.
What is lemlist?
lemlist is a cold outreach platform for sales teams and founders. Its core is a sequence builder for email, with LinkedIn prospecting, calls and SMS in the same flow. SMS is included on Multichannel and WhatsApp is a paid add-on.
It also bundles a 650M+ contact lead database, email and phone finders and a unified inbox for replies, so most teams do not need a separate data tool to start.
For the wider category, see our cold email software guide.
Two additions define the 2026 product. lemAgent covers signal, enrichment and messaging agents, and lemlist ships an MCP server and a CLI for teams that want outbound inside their own tools.
The native CRM integrations are HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, with Zapier, Make, n8n and Clay for the rest of the stack.
Toolradar data: Toolradar tracks 10 tools under Cold Email Tools and 145 under Sales Engagement, the category lemlist is filed under on its Toolradar page.
Counts are from the Toolradar category directory, October 2026. Rivals listed on Toolradar include Instantly and Smartlead.
How lemlist works
The trial is where you find out whether lemlist fits. The 14-day trial needs no credit card and gives you the Multichannel features, except in-app calls, plus 200 free credits to find emails and phone numbers.
That is enough to build one sequence, load a small list and see how the credits behave before you pay.
Once you pay, the Email plan lets you add unlimited users and email senders, and lemwarm plus built-in deliverability protections come with every plan.
The plan comparison lists inbox rotation, rotating IPs, a custom tracking domain, a Deliverability Hub and deliverability alerts. Before you scale a list, check your sending domains, warm them and verify the list first. Our email verification tools guide covers the checks.
Billing runs monthly, quarterly or yearly, and the page offers dollars, euros or pounds.

lemlist pros and cons
What we like
- Email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS in one sequence on the Multichannel plan.
- Unlimited users and email senders on the Email plan, with lemwarm included in every plan.
- 14-day trial with no card, plus 200 free credits to test finders and signals.
What could be better
- Email price climbs with volume: $359/mo at 500,000 emails on monthly billing.
- Data credits are a paid add-on: 2,000 credits cost $20/mo billed monthly.
- Multichannel is priced per user and caps senders at five per user.
Who lemlist is for
lemlist fits teams whose outbound runs across channels. A sales team whose reps work LinkedIn, email and phone in one sequence gets the most from the Multichannel plan. Agencies that bring in many staff for short campaigns benefit from unlimited users on Email.
Founders running their own outbound should start on the Email plan, since the Email plan covers the core sending job on yearly billing.
It is a poor fit for a solo sender who needs only a few hundred cold emails a month.
The yearly Email entry price sits above Saleshandy Starter at $34 billed yearly and Smartlead Base at $32 billed yearly, and a Multichannel seat bills for channels you will not use.
If your team already runs marketing automation software or lives in HubSpot Marketing Hub, check whether the multichannel features add anything before you switch.

The bottom line
lemlist earns its price for teams that run multichannel outbound from one tool. The Email plan on yearly billing, with unlimited users and 50,000 emails a month, is fair for a team that sends steadily.
The Multichannel plan, priced per user, is the real decision, and it only pays off if your reps use LinkedIn and calls every week.
Pick Instantly if you want an email-first platform with bundled contacts, and Smartlead if the lowest entry price matters most.
