Vista Social Pricing 2026: Plans After the Price Increase

Vista Social pricing in 2026: Professional $99/mo, Advanced and Scale above it, 20% off yearly. What the autumn increase and seat cuts changed and what agencies pay.

Vista Social Pricing 2026: Plans After the Price Increase

Vista Social costs $99/mo on Professional in 2026 for 15 social profiles and 2 users, $199/mo on Advanced for 30 profiles and 3 users, and $449/mo on Scale for 70 profiles and 4 users, with 20% off on yearly billing ($950, $1,910 and $4,310 a year). Those are new prices: until late September 2026 the same plans cost $79, $149 and $349 and included more users.

Vista Social is a social media management platform for scheduling, inbox, reporting and listening across the major networks, sold to agencies and small marketing teams. It prices by plan, with a fixed number of profiles and users in each, so the bill is flat until you need a profile or a seat the plan does not include. That makes the included counts the thing to read, and they are the part that moved most this year.

Every price here was read on Vista Social's pricing page on 26 October 2026, including the plan data its monthly and yearly toggle renders from, with the billing rules from Vista Social's help center the same day. Whether the product earns the new price against Sprout Social and Metricool is the Vista Social review; this page is the invoice.

Toolradar data: Toolradar, the software directory we run, tracks 161 social media management tools as of 25 October 2026, and 44% of them have a free or freemium plan. The median cheapest paid plan across the 48 that publish one is $20.26/mo, which puts Vista Social's entry plan at nearly five times the category median. The record is Vista Social on Toolradar, where it is listed as an alternative to 13 other tools, and the category figures are on the social media management statistics page. MarketingShot data: this list has 35,000+ active subscribers as of November 1, 2026, with an open rate of 32%.

Plan Monthly billing Yearly billing Profiles Users AI credits a month What the step adds
Professional $99/mo $950/yr 15 2 1,000 Scheduling, inbox, reports, link in bio, DM automations, Vista Work
Advanced $199/mo $1,910/yr 30 3 2,000 Approval workflows, custom reports, Zapier and Make, custom domains, AI training
Scale $449/mo $4,310/yr 70 4 3,500 White label, client profile connect, self-serve extra profiles, 100,000 DM contacts
Enterprise Custom Custom Unlimited 8 or more Custom Sentiment, benchmarking, dedicated manager, SSO, custom integrations

The yearly totals are 20% below twelve months at the monthly rate, our arithmetic: $238 saved on Professional, $478 on Advanced and $1,078 on Scale. The pricing page opens on the yearly toggle and shows the yearly total divided by twelve as the headline figure ($80, $160 and $360), so the monthly-billing prices above are the ones to compare with rivals that quote monthly.

How does Vista Social pricing work?

Each plan is a bundle of profiles, users, AI credits and features, billed monthly or yearly in US dollars wherever you are, with a 14-day trial that needs no card. Everything on a plan is included at every network except X, which is a $29/mo add-on covering publishing, boosting, automations and analytics. A profile is one connected account (a Facebook page, an Instagram account, a TikTok profile), so a brand with five networks uses five of the plan's profiles.

The counts are hard edges. Professional's 15 profiles and 2 users suit one brand or a freelancer with a handful of clients; Advanced's 30 profiles and 3 users is the agency entry; Scale's 70 profiles and 4 users is where the page starts talking about buying more. The pricing page lists extra profiles and extra users as "customizable" without a price, and the help center's subscription article says adding profiles yourself is available only on Scale and Enterprise, in increments of 10; on lower plans you contact support. So a Professional team that needs a sixteenth profile is looking at Advanced, not at an add-on.

Upgrades are prorated for the rest of the current cycle and downgrades apply at the end of the term. The refund policy issues no partial or prorated refunds on monthly or yearly plans, yearly plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 30 days before the renewal date, and cancelling deletes the account's data at the end of the term.

What changed in the 2026 price increase?

Every self-serve plan went up by 25% to 34% on monthly billing, and the included users were cut at the same time. Archived copies of the pricing page from 21 September 2026 still print $79, $149 and $349 a month ($758, $1,430 and $3,638 a year). The copy from 14 October 2026 prints today's three prices, so the change landed between those two dates.

Plan Monthly, before Monthly, now Increase Users, 11 July 2026 Users, 28 July 2026 Users, now
Professional $79 $99 25% 3 2 2
Advanced $149 $199 34% 6 4 3
Scale $349 $449 29% 10 8 4

The seat cuts came in two steps. The 11 July 2026 copy includes 3, 6 and 10 users; by 28 July that was 2, 4 and 8 at the old prices; the October copy pairs the new prices with 2, 3 and 4. Profiles stayed at 15, 30 and 70 throughout. Per seat, Advanced went from $24.83 a month in July to $66.33 today, our arithmetic, and Scale from $34.90 to $112.25. A team that fit in the old seat count and now does not is paying the increase twice: once on the plan and once on whatever an extra user costs, which the page does not print.

Third-party pricing pages written before the autumn still quote the old figures, so a buyer comparing Vista Social against Sprout Social or Hootsuite on numbers found in a search is comparing against a plan that no longer exists.

What does a month cost for three kinds of buyer?

Our arithmetic on the prices above, on monthly billing unless stated.

A two-person team running one brand on 6 profiles pays the Professional rate, or $950 for the year if it commits, with the X add-on taking the monthly figure to $128. Before the increase the same seat count fit the old Professional plan, so this buyer's yearly bill rose from $758 to $950.

An agency with 25 client profiles and 3 staff pays the Advanced rate, $2,388 a year on monthly billing or $1,910 yearly. In July this agency fit the old Advanced plan with room for three more users at the old price. A fourth hire today means an unpriced extra seat or Scale at $449, so the practical jump for a growing agency is from the old Advanced price to Scale, not to the new Advanced price.

An agency with 60 profiles and 6 users is past the self-serve ladder. Scale covers the profiles but only 4 users, extra users carry no printed price, and the page positions Enterprise at 8 or more users with a custom quote. Budget Scale's $4,310 a year as the floor and expect a quote for the seats.

Mid-article note for MarketingShot readers: the weekday brief tracks ladders like this one; the signup sits at the end of this page.

What do the add-ons cost?

Four add-ons carry a printed price. Listening across social, web and news is $75/mo (listening on your own profiles is free on every plan). Employee advocacy is $199/mo for 25 employees, free with up to 3 advocates. X is $29/mo on any plan. Extra profiles and users are the unpriced ones, as above. AI credits are included per plan (1,000, 2,000 and 3,500 a month) and the page prints no top-up price; Scale's "scalable AI credits" line implies more can be bought, through the account.

Two things the page lists as included are worth more than they look on an invoice: DM automations with 10,000 contacts on Professional, 25,000 on Advanced and 100,000 on Scale, and Vista Page, the link-in-bio builder, which on Advanced and above takes custom domains. A team buying a separate link-in-bio tool or a DM bot can fold that cost into the plan.

Vista Social vs Sprout Social and Metricool on price

Sprout Social prices per seat and Metricool per brand, so the comparison depends on which count the buyer is short of. Figures were read on Sprout Social's pricing page and Metricool's pricing page on 26 October 2026.

Buyer Vista Social Sprout Social Metricool
2 users, 6 profiles Professional, one plan fee Essentials $79 per seat/mo billed yearly, 5 profiles per seat ($158/mo for 2 seats) Starter $25/mo billed monthly for up to 5 brands
3 users, 25 profiles Advanced, one plan fee Professional $299 per seat/mo billed yearly, unlimited profiles ($897/mo for 3 seats) Advanced $107/mo billed monthly for up to 25 brands

Sprout's Essentials seat costs 25% more on monthly billing than on yearly, and its Standard plan, at the same monthly figure per seat as Vista Social's whole Advanced plan, caps at 5 profiles. Any multi-user team is therefore at several hundred dollars a month before Vista Social's Advanced plan looks expensive; the Sprout Social pricing page and the cheaper Sprout Social alternatives list cover that gap. Metricool is the cheaper option for an agency that counts brands rather than profiles, at $107/mo for 25 brands billed monthly or $85 billed yearly, with a free plan for one brand; its ladder is on the Metricool pricing page. Hootsuite's seat pricing is on the Hootsuite pricing page, and the wider field is the best social media management tools ranking.

Who should pay for Vista Social?

A small agency with up to 30 profiles and three people is still Vista Social's best case on Advanced, because the same team on Sprout Social is paying per seat for unlimited profiles it does not need, and Metricool's brand model fits worse when one client has six networks.

A team that was on the old seat counts should re-check the fit before renewing. A four-person agency that fit Advanced in July now needs Scale or an unpriced seat, and at $449/mo Scale is within reach of Sprout's Essentials for four seats on yearly billing ($316/mo) if the profile count is small. A freelancer with one or two clients is paying the Professional fee for 15 profiles they will not use; Metricool's $25 Starter or a free scheduler from the best free social media schedulers list is the cheaper start.

Methodology and sources

Plan prices, yearly totals, included profiles, users and AI credits, DM contact caps and the four priced add-ons were read on Vista Social's pricing page on 26 October 2026, confirmed against the plan data the page's monthly and yearly toggle renders from. The proration, add-profile and renewal rules come from the help center's subscription article, refund policy and currency article. The before prices and seat counts come from the dated web.archive.org copies linked in the increase section, used only for the "before" comparison. Percentage increases, per-seat figures, the three buyer scenarios and the yearly savings are our arithmetic on those printed prices; Sprout Social's and Metricool's figures are their printed list prices the same day. The Toolradar figures are from its social media management category as of 25 October 2026.

FAQ

How much does Vista Social cost per month in 2026?

Professional is $99/mo for 15 profiles and 2 users, Advanced $199/mo for 30 profiles and 3 users, and Scale $449/mo for 70 profiles and 4 users, all on monthly billing. Yearly billing takes 20% off, to $950, $1,910 and $4,310 a year. Enterprise, for 8 or more users and unlimited profiles, is a custom quote.

Does Vista Social have a free plan?

No. There is a 14-day trial with no card, and the pricing page lists only paid plans. Metricool and several schedulers covered on this site do have free tiers, which is the route for a one-brand account that wants to pay nothing.

Did Vista Social raise its prices?

Yes, between 21 September and 14 October 2026. Professional went up by $20 a month, Advanced by a third and Scale from $349 to $449, and the included users fell from 3, 6 and 10 in July to 2, 3 and 4 now. Profiles did not change. Pages that still quote the old prices are out of date.

How much do extra profiles or users cost on Vista Social?

The pricing page lists both as "customizable" without a price, and the help center says self-serve profile additions, in blocks of 10, are available only on Scale and Enterprise. On Professional and Advanced the route to more profiles is the next plan up, and the route to more users is a conversation with support or Enterprise.

Is Vista Social cheaper than Sprout Social?

For any team of two or more, yes, by a wide margin. Sprout prices per seat: Essentials is $79 per seat a month on yearly billing with 5 profiles each, and Professional with unlimited profiles is $299 per seat. Three people on Sprout Professional pay $897/mo against a single Advanced plan fee on Vista Social, which includes 30 profiles for the whole team.

Can I get a refund from Vista Social?

No. The refund policy gives no partial or prorated refund on monthly or yearly plans; a cancelled plan runs to the end of its term and then closes, and the account's data is deleted. Yearly plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 30 days before the renewal date, so the yearly discount comes with a calendar to watch.
