SE Ranking Pricing 2026: Core vs Growth and the Add-Ons That Change the Bill
SE Ranking pricing in 2026: Core and Growth on monthly and annual billing, seats from $16, AI Search, Agency Pack and API add-ons, and what a team pays.

SE Ranking costs $129 a month for Core and $279 a month for Growth on monthly billing, or $103.20 and $223.20 a month billed annually, which the vendor rounds to a 20% saving. Core tracks 2,000 keywords a day with 1 manager seat; Growth tracks 5,000 with 3 seats. Enterprise is priced by quote. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial with no card. Prices are in US dollars, read on SE Ranking's pricing page on October 26, 2026.
The plan price is the floor, not the bill. SE Ranking sells seats, keywords, AI Search tracking, the Agency Pack and API credits as separate lines, and a small team or an agency usually adds two of them. Read the add-on table before you compare it with Semrush or Ahrefs on the headline price alone.
SE Ranking plans at a glance
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing (per month) | Projects | Manager seats | Keywords tracked daily | AI prompts daily | Audit pages a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Core | $129/mo | $103.20/mo | 10 | 1 | 2,000 | 100 | 250,000 |
| Growth | $279/mo | $223.20/mo | 30 | 3 | 5,000 | 250 | 2 million |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Contact sales | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom |
Annual plans are billed upfront, and SE Ranking says a quarterly schedule on an annual commitment is possible through sales. Both self-serve plans include rank tracking across the major search engines with Google's full top 100, unlimited keyword, competitor and backlink research, and website and on-page audits. Both also carry the Data Studio, Matomo, Google Analytics and Search Console integrations, MCP access and a 14-day trial. A keyword counts once per search engine, so 30 keywords in two engines use 60 of the daily allowance.
Toolradar data: Toolradar, the software directory we run, tracks 282 SEO tools as of October 25, 2026, and the median cheapest paid plan is $30.12 a month across the 110 that publish a price. SE Ranking's annual Core rate is more than three times that median, which places it with the full-suite tools rather than the single-purpose rank trackers; 47% of the tools in the category offer a free or freemium tier, and SE Ranking is not one of them. Its record is SE Ranking on Toolradar, and the product itself is covered in our SE Ranking review.
What separates Core from Growth
Core: one seat, 10 projects, six months of history
Core covers 10 projects, 1 manager seat, 2,000 keyword targets a day, 100 AI prompts a day across 5 AI platforms, GEO research on 5 domains, 250,000 audited pages a month, 10 reports in Report Builder, 50,000 export rows, 25 Content Editor articles, 3 local business locations with 1,500 local keywords, 25,000 API credits a month and six months of historical data. It suits a freelancer or an in-house marketer who runs a handful of sites and reports to one person.
The ceiling is people, not data. One manager seat and one active session per login means a colleague who signs in bumps you out, by SE Ranking's own FAQ, so a second user is a paid seat or a guest link. Historical data stops at six months, which matters for a year-on-year client report.
Growth: three seats, 30 projects, all-time history
Growth raises the limits to 30 projects, 3 manager seats, 5,000 keywords a day, 250 AI prompts, 15 GEO domains, 2 million audited pages, 30 reports, 100,000 export rows, 50 articles and 100,000 API credits, and adds historical data across the project lifetime, guest links, page change monitoring and a dedicated customer success contact. Local marketing stays at 3 locations on both plans.
The step from Core costs $150 a month on monthly billing and $120 on annual billing, and the three seats are the usual reason to take it: two extra seats on Core cost about $32 a month, so a three-person team pays $135.20 on Core annual against Growth's annual rate, by our arithmetic. The $88 difference buys the history, the keyword headroom and guest links rather than the logins.
Enterprise: custom limits and full API
Enterprise has flexible terms, custom limits and pricing, and full API and advanced integrations, all through sales. SE Ranking also offers custom plans below Enterprise for a team that needs one limit raised, which is worth asking about before paying for Growth to get a single number.
The add-ons that change the bill
| Add-on | Price | Billing | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Extra manager seat | From $16 a month | Core or Growth | One more full-access user |
| Extra keywords | From $22.40 a month on Core, from $32 on Growth | Either plan | More daily tracked keyword targets |
| Extra articles | From $39.20 a month | Either plan | More Content Editor briefs and drafts |
| Extra locations | From $18.40 a month | Either plan | More business profiles in Local Marketing |
| AI Search | $89 a month, or $71.20 billed annually, for 200 prompts | Either plan | Brand visibility across AI Overviews, AI Mode and ChatGPT; 450 and 1,000-prompt tiers are listed without a price |
| Agency Pack | From $69 a month | Annual billing only | 30 client seats, white label, scheduled reports with AI summaries, Agency Catalog listing, Lead Generator; 50 and 100-project tiers are listed without a price |
| API add-on | From $45 a month for 3 million credits | Annual billing only | Backlinks, domain, keyword, AI Search and audit APIs; 12 million and 60 million-credit tiers are listed without a price |
| Standalone Data API | From $179 a month | Annual billing only | Programmatic access without a platform plan |
| Planable | From $33 a month, 20% off when bundled | Sold with SE Ranking | Social media scheduling and approvals |
The page prints every add-on as a "from" price, so the exact figure for your plan and billing cycle appears at checkout. Two of the lines are annual-only: an agency that wants white-label reports or an API key cannot pay month to month for them, whatever billing the base plan is on.
AI Search is the add-on to budget for first if AI visibility is the reason you are shopping. The base plans already track 100 or 250 AI prompts a day across 5 AI platforms. The brand-level dashboard with mentions, citations and sentiment sits in the add-on, at $71.20 a month on annual billing for 200 prompts.
What a freelancer, a team and an agency pay
These scenarios use the plan and add-on prices above, read October 26, 2026, before tax, and take the printed "from" prices for seats and the Agency Pack at face value.
| Buyer | Needs | SE Ranking setup | Monthly cost, annual billing | A year, by our arithmetic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Freelance SEO | 6 client sites, 1 user, 1,500 keywords | Core | $103.20 | $1,238.40 |
| Three-person in-house team | 8 sites, 3 users, 2,000 keywords, no client reports | Core plus 2 seats | $135.20 | $1,622.40 |
| Three-person team with client history | 20 sites, 3 users, 4,000 keywords, year-on-year reports | Growth | $223.20 | $2,678.40 |
| Agency with white-label reports | 25 sites, 3 users, 30 client logins | Growth plus Agency Pack | $292.20 | $3,506.40 |
| Brand tracking AI visibility | 5 sites, 1 user, brand dashboard | Core plus AI Search | $174.40 | $2,092.80 |
The in-house team is the row where Core stays the right answer: two seats add about $32 a month, far less than the step to Growth, as long as six months of history and 10 projects are enough. The moment the team needs client-facing guest links or a year of history, Growth is cheaper than Core plus seats plus workarounds.
On monthly billing the same setups cost more: Core alone costs $25.80 a month more, which adds up to $309.60 over a year by our arithmetic, and the annual-only add-ons are not available at all. Monthly billing fits a two-month audit project; annual fits anyone who will still be tracking rankings next year.
Monthly or annual billing?
Annual billing saves $25.80 a month on Core and $55.80 on Growth, charged upfront, and unlocks the Agency Pack, the API add-on and free assisted migration from another tool, which SE Ranking reserves for annual subscribers. Monthly subscribers migrate with the self-serve import.
SE Ranking's FAQ says you can cancel at any time, payments are non-refundable unless the service was not delivered as promised, and an annual plan can be paid quarterly only by arrangement with sales. A monthly plan can be stopped after a campaign; an annual plan runs its term.

The free trial
The 14-day trial needs no card and is fully functional, but it runs on starter limits rather than a plan's. Those limits are 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords a day, 20 AI prompts a day and AI competitive research on 3 domains. That is enough to set up a client's site and see rankings move, not enough to test the 2,000-keyword Core allowance or the AI Search dashboard, so judge the product on the trial and the limits on the comparison table.
How SE Ranking compares with Semrush and Ahrefs
| SE Ranking | Semrush | Ahrefs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry plan, monthly billing | Core, $129/mo | SEO, $139/mo | Lite, $129/mo |
| Entry plan, annual billing | Core, $103.20/mo | SEO, $117.33/mo | Check the current price on Ahrefs' site |
| Keywords tracked on the entry plan | 2,000 a day | 500 a day | 750 |
| Seats on the entry plan | 1 | 1 | 1 |
| Extra seat | From $16/mo | Check the current price on Semrush's site | $40/mo on Lite, $60/mo on Standard |
| Mid plan, monthly billing | Growth, $279/mo, 3 seats | Starter, $199/mo | Standard, $249/mo |
| Free trial | 14 days, no card | Free account with limited reports | Free plan with limited Site Explorer and Site Audit |
On the entry plan SE Ranking tracks four times the keywords Semrush does for $10 a month less, per Semrush's pricing page, and matches Ahrefs Lite's monthly price with nearly three times its tracked keywords, per Ahrefs' pricing page. Semrush's SEO plan tracks 500 keywords a day for $139 a month, or $117.33 billed annually, and its Starter plan with an AI prompt quota is $199 a month. Ahrefs Lite tracks 750 keywords for the same monthly price as Core, with extra users at $40 each, and the page says annual billing saves up to 17% without printing the per-month rate on its cards.
Where the rivals win is data depth and brand. Semrush's and Ahrefs' keyword and backlink databases are the reason agencies pay more, and both have larger ecosystems of integrations. Our Semrush pricing and Ahrefs pricing explainers price each plan by plan, Ahrefs vs Semrush puts the two head to head, and the cheaper Ahrefs alternatives page covers where SE Ranking sits among them. For rank tracking alone, the best free rank trackers list covers tools that cost nothing.
What the price leaves out
- Seats. One on Core and three on Growth; every further user is a paid seat, and one login cannot be shared because only one session is active at a time.
- Keyword targets. Each keyword counts once per search engine, so tracking the same list on Google and Bing halves the allowance.
- Annual-only add-ons. The Agency Pack, the API add-on and the standalone Data API cannot be bought on monthly billing.
- AI visibility at brand level. The base plans track prompts; the brand dashboard with citations and sentiment is the AI Search add-on.
- Local marketing. Three locations on both plans, then from $18.40 a month per extra location.
- Refunds. None, except where the service was not delivered as promised, so test on the trial before paying a year upfront.
Is SE Ranking worth it?
SE Ranking is worth it for a freelancer or a small team that tracks many keywords across several sites and reports monthly. Core on annual billing tracks 2,000 keywords a day with audits and research, for less than Semrush's or Ahrefs' entry plans charge to track a fraction of that. Agencies on Growth get three seats, all-time history and guest links at a price below Ahrefs Standard, and the Agency Pack adds white label for a flat $69.
It is a poor fit for two buyers. A team that wants AI brand visibility as its main job pays the base plan plus the AI Search add-on, which erodes the saving against Semrush Starter. And anyone who needs the API or white-label reports has to commit to a year. The SE Ranking review covers the data quality and the rank tracker in depth, and the best keyword research tools list covers the wider field.
Frequently asked questions
How much does SE Ranking cost per month?
Core costs $129 a month and Growth $279 a month on monthly billing, or $103.20 and $223.20 a month billed annually and paid upfront. Enterprise is priced by quote, and add-ons such as extra seats from $16 and AI Search from $71.20 a month sit on top.
Does SE Ranking have a free plan?
No. SE Ranking offers a 14-day free trial with no card, limited to 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords a day, 20 AI prompts a day and 3 domains of AI competitive research. After the trial you pick Core or Growth; there is no free tier to stay on.
How many users does SE Ranking include?
One manager seat on Core and three on Growth. Extra seats cost from $16 a month each, and the FAQ says only one session per login is active at a time, so sharing a login hands the session back and forth. Guest links give clients view-only access without a seat.
What is the SE Ranking Agency Pack?
An add-on from $69 a month, on annual billing only, that adds 30 client seats, white-label branding for the platform and reports, unlimited scheduled reports with AI summaries, a listing in SE Ranking's Agency Catalog and a lead-generation audit widget. Tiers with 50 and 100 projects are listed without a price.
Is SE Ranking cheaper than Semrush?
On the entry plans, yes: Core undercuts Semrush SEO by $10 a month on monthly billing and by about $14 a month billed annually, by our arithmetic, with 2,000 tracked keywords a day against 500. The gap narrows for AI visibility, where SE Ranking's brand dashboard is a paid add-on and Semrush bundles AI search into Starter at $199 a month.
How much do you save with annual billing on SE Ranking?
About 20%, which is $25.80 a month on Core and $55.80 on Growth, paid upfront for the year. Annual billing also unlocks the Agency Pack and the API add-on and comes with free assisted migration from another tool.
