TL;DR

SocialBee is worth it in 2026 for a freelancer or small agency that wants category-based scheduling and unlimited AI writing at a flat price. Bootstrap is $29/mo for 5 profiles, Accelerate $49/mo for 10, and Pro $99/mo for 25 profiles, 5 workspaces and 3 users per workspace, with yearly billing at $290, $490 and $990, as listed on SocialBee's pricing page on October 18, 2026.

The catch is the user cap. Bootstrap and Accelerate allow one user, so every extra login is a paid add-on until you move to Pro. Agencies above 25 profiles go to Pro50, Pro100 or Pro150 at $179, $329 and $449 a month. There is no free plan: you get a 14-day trial with no card and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

SocialBee is a social media scheduler built around content categories: you file posts into buckets such as tips, promotions or blog links, give each bucket a posting schedule, and the tool fills your calendar from them. That model suits marketers who recycle evergreen posts, and it is the main reason to pick SocialBee over a plain queue.

The company is SocialBee LABS SRL, part of WebPros, and it also runs ConciergeBee, an in-house agency that sells done-for-you social media services. This review covers the software only. Every price below was read on SocialBee's own pricing page, and the alternatives were priced on their own pages the same day.

What is SocialBee?

SocialBee is a scheduling, publishing and light engagement tool for social media. It posts directly to Facebook profiles, pages and groups, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn profiles and company pages, X, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profiles and Bluesky.

Through its mobile app it also supports reminder-style posting to networks such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Mastodon and Quora.

Around the scheduler sit an AI Copilot that drafts a posting strategy with ready-to-use posts, unlimited AI caption and image generation on every plan, Canva, Unsplash and GIPHY integrations, analytics, and a shared inbox for comments, mentions and DMs on the networks that allow it.

How SocialBee works

You connect profiles, create content categories, and attach a posting schedule to each profile. Posts go into a category rather than a fixed slot, and SocialBee publishes from the categories on the cadence you set.

Evergreen posts can recycle automatically or expire after a number of shares or on a date, which is the feature that keeps a small team's calendar full without new writing every week.

Each post can be tailored per network by hand or with AI, and you can schedule the first comment, preview the Instagram grid and add alt text. Accelerate and Pro add a bulk post editor, CSV uploads, a hashtag organizer and a post approval system, and Pro adds internal notes for team feedback.

SocialBee key features

Content categories and recyclingEssential
Bootstrap allows 10 categories with 1,000 posts each, Accelerate 50 categories with 5,000 posts each, and Pro unlimited categories. Recycling and expiry rules let one library of evergreen posts feed the calendar for months.
Unlimited AI content generationEssential
Every plan includes unlimited AI captions and images plus AI Copilot, which builds a posting strategy with draft posts. Many rivals meter AI by credits, so heavy AI users get a predictable bill here.
Workspaces and users
Bootstrap and Accelerate give one workspace with one user. Pro gives 5 workspaces with 3 users each, and the agency plans go up to 30 workspaces with 5 users each. Extra users and workspaces are paid add-ons.
Analytics history
Bootstrap keeps 3 months of analytics data. Accelerate and Pro keep 2 years and add advanced analytics, and only Pro and the agency plans export branded reports for clients.
Engagement inbox
Comments, mentions and DMs for Facebook Pages and Instagram Business, comments and mentions for Threads, LinkedIn company pages and X, and comments for YouTube, in one place.
Approvals and internal notes
Accelerate adds a post approval system and Pro adds internal notes, so a client or manager can review drafts before they publish. Bootstrap has neither, which rules it out for client work.

SocialBee pricing

SocialBee's pricing page, checked on October 18, 2026, lists three standard plans and three agency plans, monthly or yearly. Yearly billing is 16% cheaper, prices exclude VAT, GST and other taxes added at checkout, and there are no contracts.

A 14-day trial gives full Pro access with no credit card, and posting stops when the trial ends unless you upgrade. A 30-day money-back guarantee covers paid plans.

The add-ons decide whether a lower tier is enough. An extra user or an extra workspace costs $10 a month or $100 a year, and a set of 5 extra profiles costs $15 a month or $150 a year. A three-person team on Accelerate pays $490 plus two add-on users, $690 a year, which is still less than Pro.

Pro earns its higher price through 25 profiles, 5 client workspaces and exportable reports, not through seats.

Agency plans carry the same features as Pro and differ only in scale: Pro50 covers 50 profiles and 10 workspaces, Pro100 covers 100 profiles and 20 workspaces, and Pro150 covers 150 profiles and 30 workspaces, each with 5 users per workspace. On yearly billing they work out to about $149, $274 and $374 a month.

Who SocialBee is for

SocialBee fits freelancers, solo marketers and small agencies who run evergreen content across 5 to 25 profiles and want AI writing without a credit meter. Pro's yearly price covers a three-person team with 5 client workspaces, which is cheap next to per-seat suites.

Skip it if you need social listening, deep paid-social reporting or a large team on one brand. Hootsuite and Sprout-style suites price per user for those features. Skip it too if you only post to two or three channels and want a free plan: Buffer and Metricool both have one, and SocialBee does not.

The bottom line

SocialBee is a good buy for a freelancer or a small agency that runs evergreen content and wants unlimited AI at a flat price. Pro on yearly billing is the plan most teams should compare, because it lifts the one-user cap and adds client workspaces, approvals and exportable reports. Bootstrap is fine for one person with five profiles who does not need client approvals.

Look elsewhere if you need a free plan, social listening or a big team. Buffer and Metricool cover a few channels for free, Vista Social gives more reporting per dollar at agency scale, and Hootsuite is the suite for listening and per-user governance.

Frequently asked questions

Is SocialBee worth it in 2026?

Yes for freelancers and small agencies that recycle evergreen posts across 5 to 25 profiles. Pro costs $990 a year for 25 profiles, 5 workspaces and 3 users per workspace, with unlimited AI writing. It is weaker value for large teams or anyone who needs social listening, where per-user suites such as Hootsuite fit better.

How much does SocialBee cost?

Bootstrap is $29 a month for 5 profiles, Accelerate $49 for 10 and Pro $99 for 25, or $290, $490 and $990 a year on yearly billing, which saves 16%. Agency plans Pro50, Pro100 and Pro150 cost $179, $329 and $449 a month. Taxes are added at checkout.

Does SocialBee have a free plan?

No. SocialBee offers a 14-day trial with full Pro access and no credit card, then posting stops until you pick a paid plan. Paid plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. Buffer and Metricool both keep a free plan if you need one long term.

How much does an extra user cost on SocialBee?

An extra user costs $10 a month on monthly plans or $100 a year on yearly plans, and an extra workspace costs the same. Bootstrap and Accelerate include one user, so a small team can add seats there and stay cheaper than Pro; Pro becomes the better buy when you also need more than 10 profiles, client workspaces or report exports.

What is the difference between SocialBee Pro and the agency plans?

Agency plans have the same features as Pro and add scale only. Pro50 covers 50 profiles and 10 workspaces, Pro100 covers 100 profiles and 20 workspaces, and Pro150 covers 150 profiles and 30 workspaces, each with 5 users per workspace.
