Instapage Pricing 2026: Create vs Optimize, Visitor Caps

Instapage pricing in 2026: Create and Optimize costs monthly and annually, the 50,000-visitor option, quote-only Convert, visitor caps, trial and cost scenarios.

Instapage Pricing 2026: Create vs Optimize, Visitor Caps

Instapage costs $99 a month for Create and $199 a month for Optimize on monthly billing, or $79 and $159 a month billed annually. Create covers 15,000 unique visitors a month, Optimize 30,000, and an expanded Optimize option covers 50,000 visitors for $299 a month or $239 billed annually. Convert, the enterprise plan, is priced by quote. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial that needs a credit card. Prices are in US dollars, read on Instapage's plans page on October 26, 2026.

Two things make Instapage's price different from its rivals'. Every self-serve plan includes 10 team members, so a team never pays for seats. And the plans page prints no overage rate, so a traffic spike is handled by an upgrade call, not a fee.

Instapage plans at a glance

Plan Monthly billing Annual billing (per month) Unique visitors a month Team members Subdomains Workspaces A/B testing
Create $99/mo $79/mo 15,000 10 2 1 No
Optimize, standard $199/mo $159/mo 30,000 10 2 1 Yes
Optimize, expanded $299/mo $239/mo 50,000 10 10 5 Yes
Convert Custom Custom Custom Custom Custom Custom Yes

Every plan includes unlimited published pages, unlimited conversions and unlimited contacts. The expanded Optimize prices appear on the plans page when you switch the Optimize card to 50,000 visitors; a 100,000-visitor column in the comparison table has no price and routes to sales. Annual billing is charged once a year; Instapage prints the per-month rate, not the yearly total.

Toolradar data: Toolradar, the software directory we run, tracks 70 landing page tools as of October 26, 2026, and the median cheapest paid plan is $18 a month across the 23 that publish a price. Instapage's entry plan costs more than four times that median, which is the premium for an ad-campaign platform with testing, collaboration and built-in email rather than a page builder alone. Instapage sits in the 36% of tracked landing page tools with no free or freemium tier.

What each plan includes

Create: the full builder, no experiments

Create includes the drag-and-drop builder, reusable blocks and forms, real-time visual collaboration with comments on the page, triggered popups and sticky bars, AI content for headlines and CTAs, contacts with branded email sends, and Collections, which generate up to 15 pages from one template and a content table. It fits a marketing team that ships many campaign pages and reviews them together.

The limits are traffic and testing. Create has no A/B testing and no dynamic text replacement, so a paid-search team that wants to match headlines to search terms needs Optimize. Its email side allows 1,500 sends a day and 15,000 a month, with 150 lists.

Optimize: server-side testing at 30,000 visitors

Optimize, which Instapage marks as recommended, adds server-side A/B testing with no flicker, hypothesis setting, experiment history, custom traffic splits, page scheduling, multi-step forms and dynamic text replacement. Collections grow to 30 pages, email to 3,000 sends a day and 30,000 a month, and the API allowance doubles to 10,000 calls a day.

The step from Create costs $100 a month on monthly billing and $80 on annual billing. For a team spending real money on ads, the doubled visitor allowance alone is often worth it: the price per 1,000 visitors at the cap, on monthly billing, is $6.60 on Create and $6.63 on Optimize by our arithmetic, so the testing tools come at no extra unit cost.

Optimize expanded: 50,000 visitors, 5 workspaces

The expanded option keeps every Optimize feature and raises the cap to 50,000 visitors, with 10 subdomains, 5 workspaces, 50 pages per Collection, 500 lists, 5,000 email sends a day and 50,000 a month. It is the first plan that suits an agency, because workspaces separate clients and a team member invited to one workspace sees only that one.

The extra 20,000 visitors cost $100 a month on monthly billing and $80 on annual billing, the same step as from Create to Optimize. Instapage says custom usage above 50,000 is available on annual contracts only, and that it does not sell custom limits below the expanded tier.

Convert: quote only

Convert adds ad-to-page personalization, global blocks and forms that update across every page at once, heatmaps, publishing on the root domain instead of a subdomain, enterprise SSO, audit logs, a 99.9% uptime SLA, direct lead bypass so leads never touch Instapage's servers, and a customer success manager with page migration and design services. None of it is sold on Create or Optimize, and Convert has no trial, only a demo.

What happens if you go over your visitor limit?

Instapage prints no overage fee. Its plans page sets a cap per plan and says nothing about the price past it, and its usage limits article explains what happens instead: a notice at 80% of the allowance, then a locked account once you exceed the cap, and pages that may be unpublished if you pass the limit on several billing cycles. The fix is an upgrade through sales. Instapage's terms of service do allow excess usage billing "as described in the Subscription Terms", so an enterprise contract may carry a rate, but a self-serve buyer has none to read.

That rule changes how to plan a launch. On Unbounce a spike costs a known fee; on Instapage it stops the account, so a team expecting a big month should move up a tier before the campaign, not after. Visitors are counted per account across every page and workspace, a returning visitor is counted again only after a 3-day cookie expires, and the counter resets on your billing date, not on the first of the month.

Monthly or annual billing?

Annual billing takes $20 a month off Create, $40 off Optimize and $60 off the expanded option, which Instapage rounds to "save up to 20%". By our arithmetic, a year of Create costs $1,188 billed monthly against $948 billed annually, Optimize $2,388 against $1,908, and expanded Optimize $3,588 against $2,868.

Pick monthly for a one-off launch and annual for an always-on lead program. Instapage's terms say subscriptions renew automatically for the same period, fees are non-refundable once paid, and a price change applies from your next subscription period, so a yearly plan locks the current price for twelve months. Custom traffic limits are sold on annual contracts only, which pushes any account above 50,000 visitors onto yearly billing by default.

How the ladder has changed since 2024

Instapage cut its monthly prices and made pages unlimited in 2024. A January 24, 2024 snapshot of the plans page shows Create at $119 a month billed monthly and Optimize at $239, with the same annual rates as today and a 30-published-page cap on both. By an August 6, 2024 snapshot, the monthly prices had dropped by $20 and $40 to today's rates, pages were unlimited, and the expanded Optimize option's annual price had risen by $40 a month, from $199 to today's rate.

The net effect: monthly billing got cheaper on both standard plans, annual billing on them stayed flat, and the 50,000-visitor option on annual billing got more expensive. A buyer comparing a 2024 quote with today's page should check which billing cycle and which Optimize option the quote used before calling it a price increase.

Four cost scenarios, computed from list prices

These scenarios add the plan prices above, read October 26, 2026, before tax. They assume the team stays under its cap for the month.

Buyer Traffic and team Instapage plan and cost Why
Solo consultant with two offer pages 3,000 visitors, 1 person, no testing Create, $79/mo annual The cheapest plan, with 12,000 visitors of headroom
Paid-search team of three 25,000 visitors, 3 people, A/B tests Optimize, $159/mo annual Testing and dynamic text live on Optimize
In-house team in a launch month 45,000 visitors, 4 people, A/B tests Optimize expanded, $299/mo monthly Standard Optimize would lock at 30,000
Agency with four clients 40,000 visitors, 8 people, A/B tests Optimize expanded, $239/mo annual Only the expanded option has 5 workspaces

The launch month is where the missing overage rate bites. A team on standard Optimize with 45,000 visitors has no fee to pay; its account locks at 30,000 and pages stop converting until someone upgrades. Taking the expanded option on monthly billing for that one month costs $100 more than standard, then drops back the next cycle. On annual billing the upgrade holds until renewal.

The agency row shows where Instapage's seat policy wins. Eight people on one account cost nothing extra, where Unbounce's self-serve plans top out at 5 users, and the five workspaces keep each client's pages, leads and team invitations apart.

How Instapage compares with Unbounce and Leadpages

Unbounce is cheaper for one to three people at every step, according to Unbounce's pricing page: Experiment tests at the same 30,000 visitors for $50 a month less on monthly billing and $47 less on annual billing. It also prints its overage fee, so a spike has a known cost. Our Unbounce vs Instapage comparison goes plan by plan, and the Unbounce pricing explainer covers its tiers.

Leadpages is the cheapest route to A/B testing: Grow costs the same per month as Instapage Create, tests, and carries no traffic cap, per Leadpages' pricing page, and its Optimize plan adds AI traffic routing and heatmaps at the same monthly price Instapage charges for standard Optimize. Leadpages says annual billing saves 20% but prints only monthly rates on its cards, so compare annual with annual only once you have both figures. Grow includes 1 user, so a team pays per seat where Instapage does not. The Leadpages review covers the builder.

Instapage's case is seats and collaboration: 10 team members on every plan, comments on the page, and workspaces on the expanded option. A four-person team that tests pays Instapage's Optimize annual rate against $187 a month on Unbounce Optimize annual, the first Unbounce plan with enough seats, which makes Instapage $28 a month cheaper. The best landing page builders list covers the wider field, including ClickFunnels for full funnels.

What the price leaves out

  • Subdomains. Create and standard Optimize connect 2 subdomains; a second brand on its own domain, or several clients, needs the expanded option's 10.
  • Workspaces. One on Create and standard Optimize, so every team member sees every page.
  • Root domain publishing. Only Convert publishes on yoursite.com; self-serve plans publish on a subdomain or through the WordPress and Drupal integrations.
  • Heatmaps and ad-to-page personalization. Convert only. Teams on Optimize pair a separate tool from our free heatmap tools list.
  • Email sends. 15,000 a month on Create, 30,000 on standard Optimize and 50,000 on expanded, with daily ceilings of 1,500, 3,000 and 5,000.
  • The trial's cap. 2,500 unique visitors during the trial, far below any plan's allowance; crossing it ends the trial early and starts the paid plan you chose.
  • Professional services. Page migration, design and custom integrations are Convert features, with no printed price.

Is Instapage worth it?

Instapage is worth it for a marketing team of three or more that builds ad landing pages together and runs tests: Optimize on annual billing covers 30,000 visitors, server-side testing and 10 seats, cheaper than any rival plan with that many users. Agencies that need separate client workspaces have a self-serve home on the expanded option without a sales call.

It is a poor fit for two buyers. A solo marketer with low traffic pays the full Create rate for 15,000 visitors they will not use, where Unbounce Starter or Leadpages Pro costs $29 or less. And a team that expects traffic spikes has no overage fee to fall back on, only an upgrade. The Instapage review covers the builder, Collections and AdMap in depth, and the best A/B testing tools list covers platforms that test on top of any page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Instapage cost per month?

Create costs $99 a month and Optimize $199 a month on monthly billing, and annual billing takes about 20% off both. The expanded Optimize option with 50,000 visitors costs $299 monthly or $239 annually, and Convert is priced by quote after a demo.

Does Instapage have a free plan?

No. Instapage offers a 14-day free trial of Create or Optimize with full features, but it requires a credit card, caps traffic at 2,500 unique visitors, and converts to the paid plan you picked when the trial ends or the cap is hit. Cancelling inside the 14 days avoids the charge. The builder stays usable without a subscription, but publishing needs a paid plan.

Which Instapage plan includes A/B testing?

Optimize is the first plan with A/B testing, run server-side with no flicker, plus hypothesis setting, experiment history and custom traffic splits. Create has no testing and no dynamic text replacement. AI experiments, which route traffic to the winning variant automatically, sit on Convert.

What happens if I exceed my Instapage visitor limit?

Instapage warns you at 80% of your monthly allowance, locks the account once you pass the cap, and may unpublish pages if it happens on several billing cycles. There is no published overage fee for self-serve plans; the remedy is an upgrade through sales.

How many team members does Instapage include?

Ten on Create and on both Optimize options, per account, whatever the number of workspaces. Pending invitations count toward the ten. That is more than Unbounce's 5 users on its top self-serve plan and Leadpages' 1 user on Grow.

Did Instapage raise its prices?

Not on the standard plans. Between January and August 2024 the monthly prices of Create and Optimize fell by $20 and $40, from $119 and $239, while their annual rates stayed flat; the 50,000-visitor Optimize option rose by $40 a month on annual billing. The lineup has not moved since, as of October 26, 2026.
