ClickFunnels Review 2026: Is It Worth the Price?

Plan limits, the 14-day trial and four alternatives with their prices, checked on vendor pages on October 10, 2026.

TL;DR

ClickFunnels is worth the price if you sell through funnels, checkout and courses every week, and a poor buy if you only need one landing page. The entry plan, Launch, costs $97 a month or $81 billed annually. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial, and the caps arrive early: 10,000 contacts and 5 custom domains on Launch.

The strength is scope. One account covers funnels, courses, a community, a store, email automations and a CRM pipeline, and the vendor says it takes no share of your sales. The weakness is the price of that scope. Leadpages and Landingi cover page building for less, and Systeme.io offers a free plan with 2,000 contacts.

Toolradar reviews1,083 across G2 and Capterra, 4.5 out of 5

ClickFunnels built its name on sales funnels, and the current product still starts there. The buyer's question in 2026 is whether a funnel platform is the right purchase when a landing page tool costs a fraction of the price.

The answer depends on how many of the bundled apps you will switch on in the first three months.

Toolradar data: Toolradar has evaluated 69 landing page tools, and 62% of them have a free plan.

ClickFunnels is not one of the free ones.

Its Toolradar profile describes it as a paid product with no permanently free tier, and it aggregates 1,083 reviews across G2 and Capterra at 4.5 out of 5.

This review reads what ClickFunnels publishes: its pricing page, the plan table, its FAQ and the limits that decide what you pay.

It sets those against four alternatives. Methodology: each price was checked on the vendor's own pricing page on October 10, 2026, in USD, with monthly and annual rates as the vendor shows them. Toolradar supplies the category and review counts. We did not run the software for this page, so nothing here describes hands-on use.

What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels is a sales platform built around funnels: the sequence of pages a visitor moves through from an ad click to a purchase. The current plans bundle the page builder with checkout, courses, a community, a store, email automations, appointments and a CRM pipeline.

It is a sales system first and a website builder second.

The pricing page lists a long set of apps, from landing pages and courses to the affiliate center and payments. Most come with every plan, but each carries its own limits.

Launch includes 3 courses and 3 communities, and Dominate raises both to 20. The AI allowance runs from 1 million words on Launch to 10 million on Dominate, and AI coaching is text only on Launch, with voice added from Scale.

Hosting is included on every plan, and the FAQ says the vendor does not take a percentage of sales.

The pricing page also shows a ClickFunnels Classic login next to the current product.

Confirm which product a plan covers before you buy, because the two are sold from different places on the same site.

If the CRM is the reason you are looking, compare it with HubSpot Marketing Hub.

If automations are the reason, compare it with ActiveCampaign. To set the email volume and contact caps against a familiar baseline, see our Mailchimp review.

How ClickFunnels works

The plan table is organized around three numbers: workspaces, contacts and monthly emails. A workspace is a sub-account, which matters if you run more than one brand or manage client accounts. Contacts and monthly emails are the caps that push a growing list up a tier.

Team members, courses, custom domains and AI words sit on top of those three.

Two details change the decision more than the headline price. The first is custom domains: Launch allows 5, while every higher plan allows unlimited.

The second is code access. The custom code editor and webhooks start on Scale, so anyone who needs API access cannot use Launch. Both limits are printed on the pricing page, and both get overlooked when the monthly price looks small.

ClickFunnels key features

Unlimited funnels and landing pagesEssential
Every plan lists unlimited funnels and unlimited landing pages, so the caps fall on contacts, emails, workspaces and courses rather than on pages. The editor is the core of the product, and the vendor also lists A/B testing for funnels and email campaigns.
Smart Checkout
The vendor sells Smart Checkout as the way to build high-converting checkout pages, which is where a funnel earns its money. It is the feature that justifies a funnel platform over a plain landing page tool, because the checkout, the email and the automations sit in one account.
Courses, community and store
Courses, a community, a store and membership sites are bundled, with caps by plan: 3 courses and 3 communities on Launch, 20 of each on Dominate. If you would otherwise pay a separate course platform, this is the strongest case for ClickFunnels. The Launch cap of 3 courses is the number to check first.
Email volume and contact capsEssential
Launch sends 50,000 emails a month and holds 10,000 contacts, Scale raises those to 300,000 and 75,000, and Dominate offers 1.2 million emails and 400,000 contacts. The two caps are separate, so a list can hit the contact cap while sending volume is still fine.
AI tools
The AI allowance runs from 1 million words on Launch to 10 million on Dominate, and the table also lists an AI funnel builder. Heavy copy work uses up the allowance, so estimate your monthly word count before you choose the entry plan.
Support tiers
Launch gets standard support, Scale and Optimize add priority support with live chat, and Dominate adds VIP support and 3 hours of private onboarding. If you expect to need live help in the first week, the step up to Scale is the one that buys it.

ClickFunnels pricing

ClickFunnels sells four plans in USD, and Launch is the entry point. Scale is $197 a month or $164 billed annually, Optimize is $297 a month or $248 billed annually, and Dominate is $5,997 a year, billed annually only.

Prices were checked on ClickFunnels' pricing page on October 10, 2026.

Annual billing is the cheaper way to buy. At the monthly rate Launch comes to $1,164 a year, and billed annually it comes to $972.

The step from Launch to Scale costs $83 a month on annual billing, and in return contacts rise from 10,000 to 75,000 and monthly emails from 50,000 to 300,000.

A five-person team on Scale, billed annually, pays $1,968 a year for the plan, because five team members are included, and the pricing page lists no add-on prices for extra contacts or emails.

The trial is the only free way in.

ClickFunnels offers a 14-day free trial, and its FAQ says you can change plans during the trial or after it.

The FAQ also describes a 30-day money-back guarantee after the trial ends, which the vendor counts as 44 days of risk-free use in total.

Dominate is the top tier, sold on annual billing only, with 20 workspaces, 20 team members and 400,000 contacts.

It suits an agency or a company that runs several brands from one account. The mistake to avoid is buying Launch for a list that is about to grow. Once the contact count passes 10,000, the next plan is the real price, not the entry one.

What could be better

Who ClickFunnels is for

ClickFunnels fits a founder, coach or course seller who runs the whole sales path, from ad click to checkout to the course portal, inside one account.

If the course, the store and the email already live in three tools you pay for, the bundle can come out cheaper than it looks. Dominate suits an agency or a team with several brands, because 20 workspaces is the limit that matters for client work.

For a deeper look at the course side, the Kajabi review covers the closest bundled rival.

Skip it for a single landing page, a small newsletter (see our beehiiv review for a newsletter-first tool) or a brand that needs a full website with a blog.

A dedicated page tool such as the landing page builders we compare covers that job for less, and our Unbounce review explains why a testing-first team might still pick it.

If the budget is zero, Systeme.io's free plan is the only option in this comparison that asks for no payment at all.

The bottom line

ClickFunnels is worth the price for one kind of buyer: a business that sells through funnels, courses and a community, and will use most of the bundle every week. For that buyer the bundle can replace several subscriptions, and the 30-day guarantee after the 14-day trial gives time to check the fit.

For everyone else the price is hard to defend.

A landing page or a page test needs a fraction of the plan, and the list side can sit with a dedicated email tool, such as the options in our email marketing software roundup.

Choose Launch only if its caps fit: 10,000 contacts and 5 custom domains is a small list and a small brand.

Choose Scale when the contact count or the domain count outgrows those numbers. Start with Systeme.io's free plan if the budget is zero and the list stays under 2,000 contacts.

Frequently asked questions

How much does ClickFunnels cost in 2026?
ClickFunnels has four plans. Launch is $97 a month or $81 a month billed annually, Scale is $197 or $164 a month, Optimize is $297 or $248 a month, and Dominate is $5,997 a year, billed annually only. The prices were checked on the vendor's pricing page on October 10, 2026, in USD.
Is there a free ClickFunnels plan?
No. The pricing page lists no free plan. ClickFunnels offers a 14-day free trial, and its FAQ describes a 30-day money-back guarantee after the trial ends, which the vendor counts as 44 days of risk-free use. Systeme.io's free plan is the free alternative here: it allows 2,000 contacts and 3 sales funnels, never expires and needs no credit card.
Is ClickFunnels worth it?
For a business that sells through funnels, courses and a community every week, the bundle can replace several tools and is worth the price. For a single landing page or a small newsletter, it costs far more than dedicated tools such as Leadpages or Landingi, which both start under $30 a month.
What is the cheapest ClickFunnels alternative?
Among the tools checked on October 10, 2026, Systeme.io's Startup plan at $17 a month is the cheapest paid entry, and its free plan is the only free start. Unbounce's Starter plan comes next at $22 a month billed yearly, then Landingi's Build plan at $24 a month. Systeme.io is the only one of these that bundles funnels and courses; the other three are built around pages, so check whether you need funnels, courses or checkout before you switch.
Does ClickFunnels take a percentage of my sales?
No. The FAQ on the ClickFunnels pricing page says the vendor takes no percentage of sales and that you keep every penny you make. Hosting for all plans is included, and an account without a custom domain gets a free myclickfunnels.com subdomain.
How many contacts and custom domains does the cheapest plan include?
Launch includes 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month, one workspace, two team members and five custom domains. Once a list passes 10,000 contacts, the next plan is Scale, which allows 75,000 contacts and unlimited custom domains.
