AWeber Pricing 2026: Free, Lite and Plus Plans
AWeber pricing in 2026: a Free plan to 500 subscribers, then Lite and Plus priced by list size. Full tier ladder, send caps, annual savings and Done For You.

AWeber costs $15/mo on Lite and $30/mo on Plus for up to 500 subscribers when billed monthly, or $150 and $240 a year billed annually. A Free plan covers up to 500 subscribers and 3,000 emails a month. Both paid plans rise with list size: at 10,000 subscribers Lite is $100 a month and Plus $135, and lists above 100,000 get a custom quote.
Those prices come from AWeber's pricing page and its cost breakdown in the AWeber knowledge base, both read on 19 October 2026, so every price here is as of October 2026. Our take: Plus billed annually at 500 subscribers is AWeber's best deal, because the yearly discount there is twice what it is anywhere else on the ladder. Past that first tier, AWeber is a mid-priced tool that costs more than MailerLite at every size we checked.
Toolradar data: AWeber's entry price on monthly billing ranks #7 of 9 newsletter tools with a verified entry price on AWeber's Toolradar profile, against a category median of $10.80 a month, and AWeber is listed as an alternative to 9 other tools, #5 of 22 in the category (snapshot of October 2026). Toolradar is the software directory we run. For the record, MarketingShot and Dupple's other newsletters are sent on beehiiv, not AWeber.
AWeber plans at a glance
| Plan | Price at 500 subscribers | Monthly sends included | What the plan includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 (up to 500 subscribers) | 3,000 | One list profile, one automation and landing pages, with no time limit |
| Lite | $15/mo billed monthly | 10x your tier (5,000) | 1 list, 3 landing pages, 3 automations, 3 users, 1 custom segment, 24/7 support |
| Plus | $30/mo billed monthly | 12x your tier (6,000) | Unlimited lists, landing pages, automations, segments and users, branding removed, priority support |
| Done For You | Plus price plus a one-time $79 setup fee | Same as Plus | Plus, with AWeber's team building your template, landing pages, signup form and welcome series |
The pricing page opens on the annual toggle, which is why the headline figures there read $12.50 and $20.00 a month. Those are the yearly bills divided by 12, not monthly prices, and paying month to month costs 20% more on Lite and 50% more on Plus at that tier.
How much does AWeber cost by list size?
Both paid plans are priced in subscriber tiers. This is the full ladder up to 100,000 subscribers, with the annual figure as the one-year total AWeber charges up front.
| Subscribers | Lite monthly | Lite billed annually | Plus monthly | Plus billed annually |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 500 | $15 | $150/yr | $30 | $240/yr |
| 501 to 1,000 | $25 | $250/yr | $45 | $450/yr |
| 1,001 to 2,500 | $35 | $350/yr | $55 | $550/yr |
| 2,501 to 5,000 | $60 | $600/yr | $90 | $900/yr |
| 5,001 to 7,500 | $85 | $850/yr | $120 | $1,200/yr |
| 7,501 to 10,000 | $100 | $1,000/yr | $135 | $1,350/yr |
| 10,001 to 15,000 | $150 | $1,500/yr | $180 | $1,800/yr |
| 15,001 to 20,000 | $185 | $1,850/yr | $215 | $2,150/yr |
| 20,001 to 25,000 | $210 | $2,100/yr | $250 | $2,500/yr |
| 25,001 to 35,000 | $275 | $2,750/yr | $350 | $3,500/yr |
| 35,001 to 50,000 | $375 | $3,750/yr | $400 | $4,000/yr |
| 50,001 to 75,000 | $500 | $5,000/yr | $600 | $6,000/yr |
| 75,001 to 100,000 | $600 | $6,000/yr | $750 | $7,500/yr |
The Lite-to-Plus gap is widest in percentage at the bottom of the ladder. At 500 subscribers Plus costs twice Lite. At 35,001 to 50,000 the monthly difference is $25, about 7%, so any large list that wants unlimited automations should not bother with Lite.
The ladder also has a few odd steps. The jump from 2,500 to 5,000 subscribers adds $25 a month on Lite and $35 on Plus, the biggest relative rise in the low tiers. Lists of 100,000 or more go to AWeber's high volume pricing, which is a quote.
The annual discount is not what the banner says
AWeber's pricing page advertises "up to 4 months free" on annual billing. That headline is true for exactly one tier: Plus at 500 subscribers, where paying monthly costs $360 a year, 50% more than the annual bill. The knowledge base calls it a 33.3% saving.
Everywhere else the saving is two months. Lite at 500 is $180 a year paid monthly, so annual billing saves the 16.7% AWeber states for Lite. Plus at 1,000 subscribers is $540 a year paid monthly against $450 annually, also 16.7%, and the same ratio holds at 2,500 and 10,000.
So the Plus discount halves the moment your list passes 500. A creator at 450 subscribers who expects to grow should lock in the annual Plus price now; the plan moves to the next tier as the list grows, but the starting bill is the best-value AWeber price on the page.
How the send allowance can raise your bill
AWeber does not only count subscribers. Each paid tier includes a monthly send allowance: 10 times the tier ceiling on Lite and 12 times on Plus. The 500 tier therefore includes 5,000 sends on Lite and 6,000 on Plus, and the 1,000 tier includes 10,000 and 12,000.
When you use up the sends, AWeber moves your account to the next subscriber tier automatically, according to its knowledge base. Sending does not stop, but the price changes. This is the rule that catches frequent senders with small lists.
Here is what it means for a 500-subscriber list, based on roughly 4.3 weeks a month:
| Sending rhythm | Sends a month | Lite (5,000 included) | Plus (6,000 included) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Once a week | About 2,200 | Stays on the 500 tier | Stays on the 500 tier |
| Twice a week | About 4,300 | Stays on the 500 tier | Stays on the 500 tier |
| Three times a week | About 6,500 | Over the cap, moves to the 1,000 tier ($25) | Over the cap, moves to the 1,000 tier ($45) |
| Daily | About 15,000 | Over the 1,000 tier's 10,000 too | Over the 1,000 tier's 12,000 too |
A daily newsletter with 500 readers outgrows two tiers of allowance, which on AWeber's rule lands it on the 2,500 tier: $35 a month on Lite or $55 on Plus, priced as if the list were five times bigger. Check how the move shows on your invoice before a heavy send month, and cut sends to inactive subscribers first.
The Free plan works differently. Its 3,000 sends are a hard monthly allowance: once used, sending resumes only after you upgrade to Lite or Plus, and growing past 500 subscribers also prompts an upgrade.
What Done For You and the Hold Package cost
Done For You is Plus with a setup service on top. The card shows the Plus price for your list size plus a one-time $79 setup fee, marked down from $599 as a limited-time offer. At 500 subscribers billed annually, the first year comes to $319: the annual Plus bill plus the $79 fee.
For that fee, AWeber's team sets up your branding and list details, one email template, landing pages, a signup form and a welcome series, holds a one-to-one setup call, delivers newsletter drafts weekly and makes unlimited edits for 30 days. It suits a coach or shop owner who would otherwise pay a freelancer for the same work; a marketer who can build a welcome series in an afternoon gets nothing from it that Plus does not already include.
The Hold Package costs $4.99 a month and pauses an account while keeping subscribers, automations and landing pages, per AWeber's knowledge base. It is cheaper than dropping to Lite for a seasonal business that stops mailing for a few months. You request it through AWeber's support team.
Lite vs Plus: which features justify the price?
Lite's limits are tight. One list, three landing pages, three automations and one saved segment are enough for a single newsletter with a welcome sequence, but not for a business running several lead magnets, each with its own follow-up.
Plus removes every one of those limits and adds:
- Removal of AWeber branding from emails and landing pages.
- Advanced reporting, webpage tracking and email sales tracking.
- Advanced landing page features, behavioral automation and branded click-tracking links.
- A lower ecommerce transaction fee: 0.6% on Plus against 1.0% on Lite, on top of Stripe's 2.9% plus $0.30 per payment.
The transaction fee is worth pricing for anyone selling through AWeber. At $2,000 a month in product sales the gap is $8 a month, which covers part of the step from Lite to Plus at the 1,000 tier ($20 a month). Sellers above about $5,000 a month through AWeber Ecommerce recover the whole gap at that tier from the lower fee alone.
Both paid plans come with a 14-day trial and need a credit card. If you are still deciding whether AWeber is the right platform at all, our AWeber review covers deliverability, the editor and support in depth.
Is AWeber cheaper than MailerLite or beehiiv?
No, not on paid plans. We compared list prices at 1,000 and 10,000 subscribers on the same billing basis, read on each vendor's pricing page on 19 October 2026.
| Plan | 1,000 subscribers, monthly | 1,000, billed yearly (per month) | 10,000 subscribers, monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| AWeber Lite | $25 | $20.83 ($250/yr) | $100 |
| AWeber Plus | $45 | $37.50 ($450/yr) | $135 |
| MailerLite Comfort | $19 | $17.10 | $89 |
| MailerLite Power | $39 | $35.10 | $129 |
| beehiiv Lite | Not compared | $49 | Not compared |
MailerLite undercuts AWeber at each size and plan level in the table: Comfort is $6 a month below Lite at 1,000 subscribers and $11 below at 10,000, by MailerLite's pricing page. Power, MailerLite's unlimited-sends plan, is $6 a month below Plus at both sizes.
The free plans tell a different story. AWeber Free covers up to 500 subscribers and 3,000 sends, double MailerLite's free cap of 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails. beehiiv's pricing page offers a free plan up to 2,500 subscribers with unlimited sends, and its Lite plan shows $49 a month billed yearly at 1,000 subscribers. A pure newsletter writer who fits a free plan pays nothing on beehiiv for longer than on AWeber; a small business that wants automations and landing pages at 500 subscribers gets more from AWeber Free than from MailerLite Free.
For the full ladders, see our MailerLite pricing, beehiiv pricing, Kit pricing, Constant Contact pricing and Mailchimp pricing breakdowns. Toolradar also keeps a list of AWeber alternatives with prices per pick.
Which AWeber plan should you buy?
Stay on Free while you are under 500 subscribers and mail weekly or less; 3,000 sends cover a weekly email to about 690 people, more than the plan's subscriber cap. Choose Plus billed annually if you are near 500 and growing, since the 33.3% saving disappears at the next tier.
Pick Lite only for one newsletter with one welcome sequence, sent once or twice a week. Anyone running several funnels, selling products, or mailing three or more times a week should price Plus first, then check the send allowance against their rhythm. If the numbers put AWeber above budget, our best email marketing software ranking and the best free email marketing software list cover the cheaper options.

How we checked these prices
Louis Corneloup, founder of Dupple and Toolradar, prepared this breakdown for marketers choosing an AWeber plan. We read the plan cards, the subscriber slider data and the feature table on AWeber's pricing page, the tier and send tables in AWeber's knowledge base article on cost and the AWeber Free page on 19 October 2026, plus competitor prices on MailerLite's pricing page and beehiiv's pricing page the same day. Monthly equivalents, savings and the send scenarios are our arithmetic from those list prices. Publishing rules sit on the MarketingShot about page.
FAQ
How much does AWeber cost in 2026?
AWeber Lite costs $15 a month and Plus $30 a month for up to 500 subscribers billed monthly, or $150 and $240 a year billed annually. Prices rise with list size, to $100 and $135 a month at 10,000 subscribers. A Free plan covers up to 500 subscribers, and lists of 100,000 or more get a quote.
Does AWeber have a free plan?
Yes. AWeber Free covers up to 500 subscribers and 3,000 sends a month with no time limit, on a single list with one automation. Once the monthly sends are used, or the list passes 500 subscribers, AWeber prompts an upgrade to Lite or Plus to keep sending.
Why does AWeber show $12.50 and $20 a month?
Those are the annual prices divided by 12. The pricing page opens on the annual toggle: Lite at $12.50 a month and Plus at $20 are the yearly bills for 500 subscribers spread over 12 months. Monthly billing costs more: $180 a year for Lite and $360 for Plus at that size.
What happens if I send more emails than my AWeber plan includes?
On Lite and Plus, AWeber moves your account to the next subscriber tier automatically when you use the month's sends, and that tier carries a higher price. Lite includes 10 times your tier ceiling in sends and Plus 12 times, so a 500-subscriber list gets 5,000 or 6,000 sends a month.
Is AWeber Plus worth it over Lite?
Plus is worth it if you need more than 3 automations, 3 landing pages or one list, want AWeber branding removed, or sell through AWeber, where its 0.6% transaction fee beats Lite's 1.0%. At 500 subscribers Plus costs $240 a year billed annually against $150 for Lite.
How much does AWeber Done For You cost?
Done For You costs the Plus price for your list size plus a one-time $79 setup fee, shown as a limited-time markdown from $599. At 500 subscribers billed annually, year one is $319. It adds a setup call, branded template, landing pages, signup form, welcome series and 30 days of edits.
Is AWeber cheaper than MailerLite?
No. At 1,000 subscribers billed monthly, AWeber Lite is $25 against $19 for MailerLite Comfort, and AWeber Plus is $45 against $39 for MailerLite Power. AWeber's free plan is larger, though: 500 subscribers against MailerLite's 250.
