Systeme.io Review

What each Systeme.io plan allows, where the caps bite as a list grows, and four funnel and course rivals priced side by side.

TL;DR

Systeme.io is worth it in 2026 for a solo creator or small business that wants funnels, email and courses in one account without a large monthly bill. The free plan holds 2,000 contacts and never expires; Startup costs $17 a month, Webinar $47 and Unlimited $97, with 2 months free on yearly billing.

The catch is that every tier is set by contacts, so a growing list moves you up the ladder faster than any feature need does. The tool also covers many jobs at a basic level, so a team that needs advanced page testing or deep reporting will outgrow it.

Systeme.io sells one promise: the funnel builder, email tool, course host and affiliate manager that most creators rent separately, in a single login with a free plan at the bottom. For a list under 10,000 contacts, no all-in-one rival in this review comes close on price. The question for a marketer is what you give up for that price, and when the contact caps force a jump.

Toolradar data: Systeme.io's entry paid plan ranks #7 of 25 for price among the online course platforms Toolradar tracks with a verified entry price, where the median entry plan is $36 a month (Toolradar data, October 2026). Its Toolradar profile aggregates 2,880 reviews across G2, Capterra and SourceForge at 4.8 out of 5, and places it joint #2 of 69 email marketing tools with 20 or more reviews.

Methodology: every price on this page was checked on the vendor's own pricing page on October 18, 2026, in USD. We compared plan limits, billing terms and the fees a seller pays on sales, and built the yearly cost model below from those figures. Nobody at MarketingShot ran a campaign on Systeme.io for this page, so nothing here describes hands-on use.

What is Systeme.io?

Systeme.io is an all-in-one platform for online businesses. One account covers sales funnels, email campaigns and newsletters, automation rules and workflows, websites and blogs, online courses, communities, an affiliate program, a booking calendar, physical products, SMS and a link-in-bio page. It competes with ClickFunnels and Kajabi on scope and undercuts both on price.

The plan structure is unusually flat. All four plans include unlimited email sends, unlimited file storage, unlimited students and 24/7 email support, and the vendor states an average support response time under 2 hours, 7 days a week. What changes between tiers is the quantity: contacts, funnels, courses, automation rules and custom domains.

Sub-accounts are the detail agencies should notice. Every plan, including Free, allows unlimited sub-accounts, and each one gets the same limits as the main plan at no extra cost. A consultant on the Webinar plan can run a separate client account with its own 50 funnels without paying for a second seat.

Systeme.io also lists a Custom plan for teams, priced on a call, that adds a dedicated success manager on top of Unlimited. If you are weighing it against a course-first tool, read our Kajabi review; for the funnel-first rival, see the ClickFunnels review.

How Systeme.io works

The vendor's own plan guide maps each tier to a band of list size, from Free for the smallest lists to Unlimited for anything past the Webinar cap. Contacts are the number that sets your bill, so forecast list growth for the next year before you pick a plan. Funnels, courses and automation rules rise in step with each tier, which means a buyer rarely upgrades for a feature alone.

Payments run through processors you connect: Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Razorpay, Flutterwave, Mercado Pago and Xendit, plus cash on delivery for physical goods. Systeme.io takes 0% of each sale on every plan, while the processor still charges its own rate. Order bumps, 1-click upsells, coupon codes and deadline funnels sit inside the funnel builder.

Cancelling is low-risk. The pricing FAQ says a cancelled plan runs to the next billing date and the account then falls back to the free plan, so your pages stay in place rather than disappearing. Systeme.io also offers free migration from another platform.

Systeme.io key features

Sales funnels with upsellsEssential
The funnel builder covers order bumps, 1-click upsells and deadline funnels. Free allows 3 funnels, Startup 10, Webinar 50 and Unlimited no cap, so a launch-heavy seller will feel the Startup limit first.
Unlimited email sendsEssential
Every plan sends unlimited emails to your contacts, so the bill tracks list size rather than sending volume. That favors a creator who mails a list of 4,000 people daily over one who mails 20,000 people monthly.
Courses and communities
Courses scale from 1 on Free to 5, 20 and then unlimited, and students are unlimited on paid plans (Free caps them at 500). Communities sit on the same account, which removes a separate membership tool for many sellers.
Evergreen webinars
Automated, evergreen webinars start on the Webinar plan, which also adds A/B tests. If webinars drive your sales, that tier is the real entry point, not Startup.
Affiliate program management
Every plan can run its own affiliate program tied to your funnels and websites. A seller recruiting partners avoids a separate affiliate tool, which compares well with dedicated options in our affiliate software roundup.
Unlimited sub-accounts
Each sub-account is a full account with the same limits as your plan. Agencies and multi-brand operators get separate workspaces without a per-account fee.

Systeme.io pricing

Systeme.io publishes four self-serve plans in USD: Free at $0, Startup, Webinar and Unlimited, plus a Custom team plan priced on a call. Prices were read on Systeme.io's pricing page on October 18, 2026. Yearly billing is advertised as 2 months free compared with paying monthly; the page renders the yearly totals inside its plan cards rather than as text, so check the toggle at checkout.

Here is the cost model at monthly billing. Startup comes to $204 a year, Webinar to $564 and Unlimited to $1,164, and the yearly discount cuts each of those by a sixth. The jump that matters is Startup to Webinar: $30 more a month buys 5,000 more contacts, 40 more funnels, 15 more courses and evergreen webinars.

Set that against the rivals checked the same day. Kajabi's pricing page lists Basic at $179 a month with 2,500 contacts, and ClickFunnels' pricing page lists Launch, its entry plan, with a contact cap that Systeme.io's top self-serve plan does not have. A creator with 8,000 contacts pays $47 a month on Systeme.io's Webinar plan, against at least $249 on Kajabi Growth.

Fees on sales widen the gap. Kajabi charges 2% on Basic when you sell through a third-party gateway, so $5,000 of monthly course sales adds $100 a month in platform fees on top of the plan. On Systeme.io the platform fee on the same sales is zero; only Stripe or PayPal's own processing rate applies. HighLevel's pricing page and Leadpages' pricing page supplied the other figures in the table.

Who Systeme.io is for

Systeme.io fits a solo creator, coach or small online business that sells a course, a digital product or a service through funnels and email, and wants one invoice. A seller with a small list can run the whole business on the free plan. Agencies get value from the unlimited sub-accounts, and course sellers save most against Kajabi once sales volume makes percentage fees add up.

Skip it if your growth depends on landing page testing: our landing page builders comparison and the Leadpages review cover tools built for that. A newsletter-first publisher should look at the beehiiv review or Kit review instead; for transparency, MarketingShot's own newsletter is sent on beehiiv. Teams that need a full CRM and sales pipeline will find more in the HubSpot Marketing Hub review.

The bottom line

Systeme.io is worth it for most solo creators and small businesses in 2026, and the free plan makes the decision cheap to test. For any list that fits under the Webinar cap, no rival here matches its price for funnels, email and courses in one account. The trade-off is depth: the page builder, reporting and integrations are adequate rather than specialist, and every upgrade is triggered by list size.

Start on Free and move to Startup when the list outgrows the free cap. Pick Webinar from day one if automated webinars are your sales engine, and Unlimited once the list outgrows that cap. Choose ClickFunnels or Kajabi only when a specific feature or brand polish earns several times the bill. Compare the profiles of ClickFunnels, Kajabi and Leadpages on Toolradar, or browse our email marketing software and webinar software roundups for single-job tools.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Systeme.io cost in 2026?

Systeme.io has a free plan and three paid self-serve plans: Startup at $17 a month, Webinar at $47 a month and Unlimited at $97 a month, with 2 months free on yearly billing. A Custom team plan is priced on a call. Prices were read on the vendor's pricing page on October 18, 2026.

Is the Systeme.io free plan really free forever?

Yes. The vendor's FAQ says the free plan never expires and needs no credit card. It allows 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels, 1 course, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule, 1 email campaign and 500 students, with unlimited email sends.

Does Systeme.io take a cut of my sales?

No. Systeme.io lists 0% transaction fees on every plan, including Free. Stripe, PayPal or whichever processor you connect still charges its own processing rate on each payment.

Is Systeme.io cheaper than ClickFunnels and Kajabi?

Yes, at every list size checked here. ClickFunnels Launch is priced the same as Systeme.io's Unlimited plan at monthly billing, yet caps contacts at 10,000 while Unlimited has no cap. Kajabi Basic costs $179 a month for 2,500 contacts, while Systeme.io's Startup plan covers 5,000.

What happens if I cancel a paid Systeme.io plan?

Your paid plan stays active until the next billing date, then the account reverts to the free plan, according to the vendor's pricing FAQ. To downgrade to a lower paid plan, support can convert the remaining days, or you can wait for the free fallback and upgrade again.

Who should not use Systeme.io?

Teams that live on landing page testing, detailed analytics or a deep CRM pipeline. Systeme.io covers those jobs at a basic level; A/B tests only start on the Webinar plan, and a dedicated tool such as Leadpages or HubSpot goes further in each area.
