Tidio Pricing 2026: Plans, Lyro AI and the Three Meters
Tidio pricing in 2026: Starter is $29/mo, Growth from $59/mo, Lyro AI from $39/mo on monthly billing, with two months free on annual plans.

Tidio costs $29/mo for the Starter plan in 2026 on monthly billing, or $24.17/mo billed annually, with 100 billable conversations. Growth starts at $59/mo for 250 conversations, Plus starts at $300/mo plus usage through sales, and a free plan covers 50 conversations a month. Lyro, the AI agent, is a separate add-on from $39/mo.
The headline price is the smallest part of most Tidio bills. Tidio meters three things on separate dials: conversations your team answers, conversations Lyro answers, and visitors your automated Flows reach. A store that wants all three pays for each, so the real question is how much of each meter your traffic uses.
Every price here was read on 19 October 2026 on Tidio's pricing page, in its US-dollar view and in the plan data that page loads. The product verdict, including where the inbox falls short, is in our Tidio review.

Source: Tidio pricing, 19 October 2026. The annual toggle is labeled "2 months free," so a full year on annual billing costs ten months of the monthly price.
Billing period matters more than it looks. The page opens on the annual view, so the first number most buyers see is the discounted one. Starter on annual billing comes to about $290 for the year, against twelve months at the monthly rate. If you are trialing Tidio on a seasonal store, compare the monthly figures, since that is what you pay if you leave after a quarter.
What does each Tidio plan include?
Free: 50 human conversations and a one-time AI allowance
The free plan gives you the chat widget, 50 billable conversations a month, 100 visitors reached by Flows each month, and 50 Lyro conversations. Those Lyro conversations are a lifetime allowance, not a monthly one: the FAQ says every account starts with 50, and the limit only refreshes once you buy a Lyro plan.
That makes the free plan a fair test of the widget and a poor test of the AI. A shop that switches Lyro on during a sale can use up its lifetime allowance in a day and then has to decide whether to pay.
Starter: the manual inbox
Starter raises the human allowance to 100 billable conversations, and its card lists live chat and ticketing, the live visitors list, operating hours and basic analytics. It still carries the same one-off 50 Lyro conversations and 100 Flows visitors as the free plan, so you are paying for the bigger inbox, not for automation.
At that price for 100 conversations, each answered chat costs about $0.29 at the full allowance. A store with 120 answered chats a month is already past Starter and has to look at Growth, because Starter has a single conversation tier.
Growth: the plan that scales with your inbox
Growth adds advanced analytics, user permissions, automatic chat assignment, automatic replies, live typing preview, viewed-pages history and macros. Unlike Starter, Growth is sold in conversation tiers, and the price rises with the tier you choose.
| Growth tier (billable conversations) | Monthly billing | Cost per conversation at full use |
|---|---|---|
| 250 | $59/mo | $0.24 |
| 400 | $89/mo | $0.22 |
| 600 | $129/mo | $0.22 |
| 800 | $159/mo | $0.20 |
| 1,000 | $179/mo | $0.18 |
| 1,500 | $249/mo | $0.17 |
| 2,000 | $349/mo | $0.17 |
Tier prices from the plan data on Tidio's pricing page, 19 October 2026; cost per conversation is MarketingShot's arithmetic, rounded to the cent.
The unit cost falls by about a third from the smallest to the largest tier, so a busy inbox is cheaper per chat, but the absolute bill climbs fast. Above 2,000 conversations a month, the self-serve dropdown ends and Plus takes over.
Plus and Premium: sales-led plans
Plus starts at $300/mo plus monthly usage, and Tidio says it charges lower rates for AI and human conversations at that level. It removes the 10-seat cap with no per-seat charge and adds premium support, a dedicated success manager, departments, multiple projects, custom branding, OpenAPI and payment by wire transfer.
Premium has no published price. It starts from 3,000 Lyro conversations, adds a guaranteed 50% Lyro resolution rate, pay-per-resolution billing, SSO, a mobile SDK and Lyro run as a managed service. If a guaranteed AI result is the reason you are buying, this is the plan, and it is a negotiation, not a checkout.
How much does Lyro AI cost?
Lyro is priced by Lyro conversations, and it sits on top of whichever support plan you choose. A Lyro conversation is any customer interaction with at least one reply from the AI agent, and Tidio counts it once even if Lyro replies a dozen times or the customer comes back later.
| Lyro conversations per month | Monthly billing | Cost per Lyro conversation |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | $39/mo | $0.78 |
| 100 | $75/mo | $0.75 |
| 200 | $140/mo | $0.70 |
| 500 | $350/mo | $0.70 |
| 1,000 | $700/mo | $0.70 |
Source: plan data on Tidio's pricing page, 19 October 2026; the page also sells 150, 300 and 750 tiers on the same curve. Per-conversation cost is our arithmetic. On annual billing, the entry tier shows as $32.50/mo.
Lyro costs roughly three to four times as much per conversation as a human-answered Growth chat. That sounds backwards until you remember that the human chat price does not include the human. Lyro is worth it when it removes agent hours, and Tidio says its customers average a 75% resolution rate. That is the vendor's own average, not a guarantee; only Premium carries a contractual 50% resolution rate.
The meter also has a quirk that helps you. Lyro replies do not count as billable human conversations, so a chat Lyro resolves alone uses only the Lyro meter, and a chat Lyro hands to an agent who replies uses both.
How much do Flows cost?
Flows are rule-based automations, such as a discount pop-up or an abandoned-cart nudge, and they are billed by unique visitors reached per month. Every plan includes 100 visitors free. Paid Flows quotas start at 2,000 visitors for the same price as Starter on either billing period, and step up to $69/mo for 10,000 and $299/mo for 100,000.
For a marketer, Flows are the cheap meter. At 10,000 visitors the cost is under a cent per visitor reached, so a lead-capture Flow on a high-traffic page is far cheaper to run than Lyro on the same traffic. The catch is that Flows only follow the paths you design; they do not answer open questions.
What does Tidio cost for a real store? Three scenarios
We priced three common setups with the monthly-billing tiers on Tidio's pricing page, read 19 October 2026. Annual billing would take two months off each yearly total.
| Scenario | Plan and add-ons | Monthly bill |
|---|---|---|
| Solo seller: 90 answered chats, no AI | Starter (100 conversations) | The Starter price |
| Growing store: 400 answered chats, 150 Lyro conversations, 5,000 Flows visitors | Growth 400 ($89) + Lyro 150 ($110) + Flows 5,000 ($49) | $248 |
| AI-heavy store: 250 answered chats, 1,000 Lyro conversations | Growth 250 + Lyro 1,000 ($700) | $759 |
The growing store pays almost nine times the Starter price once it switches on both automations, and the AI line is the biggest single item. The AI-heavy store is where Plus starts to make sense: its base fee sits well below that bill, and Tidio quotes lower usage rates on that plan, so ask for a Plus quote before you commit to the self-serve 1,000-conversation Lyro tier.
The charges and rules the plan cards leave out
- Lyro's free allowance does not reset. The 50 included Lyro conversations are one-time; only a paid Lyro plan refreshes monthly, 30 days from the payment date.
- Branding removal is extra. Removing the "Powered by Tidio" logo is an add-on, listed at 16.67 USD a month on the annual view of the comparison table.
- Ten seats is the self-serve ceiling. Free, Starter and Growth all allow up to 10 agents; more people means Plus.
- Plan changes wait for the next cycle. Upgrades and downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period, so a downgrade does not refund the current month.
- Unanswered chats are free. A conversation only becomes billable once an agent replies or starts it, so spam and messages you ignore do not use the human meter.
- One widget across sites. You can install Tidio on several sites, but they share one set of appearance and offline settings unless you talk to Tidio.
Does Tidio have a free plan or free trial?
Yes to both. The free plan has no time limit and covers 50 human conversations a month. The free trial lasts 7 days, needs no credit card, and unlocks every plan's features, including Lyro and Flows; at the end, the account drops back to the free plan unless you pay.
Use the trial week to measure the meters, not just the features. Count how many chats your team answers and how many Lyro resolves, then pick tiers from those numbers rather than from the plan names.
Is Tidio cheaper than Crisp or LiveChat?
It depends on whether your cost grows with chats or with people. All three prices below are monthly billing, read on each vendor's pricing page on 19 October 2026.
| Tool | Entry paid plan | What you pay for |
|---|---|---|
| Tidio | Starter $29/mo | Answered conversations, plus Lyro and Flows meters |
| Crisp | Mini $45/mo, 4 seats | A flat workspace fee with no conversation limit |
| LiveChat (Text plans) | Essential $25 per user/mo | Each agent seat |
Crisp is the predictable option for busy inboxes. Crisp's pricing charges a flat fee per workspace with no cap on conversations: Mini at $45/mo with 4 seats, Essentials at $95/mo with 10 seats, and Plus at $295/mo with 20 seats. Its AI runs on included credits, which Crisp sizes at around 90 automated conversations on Mini. A team answering 1,000 chats a month pays $179 on Tidio Growth before any AI, and less on Crisp Essentials if ten seats are enough.
LiveChat is priced per person. New LiveChat accounts are now sold as Text plans, the team's newer product with chat, inbox and an AI agent in one workspace. LiveChat's pricing lists Essential at $25 per user per month on monthly billing, or $19 billed annually, and Growth at $99 per user monthly, or $79 annually. Essential includes 10 AI resolutions a month. Three agents on Essential pay $75/mo on monthly billing, which beats Tidio Growth only if the team needs few AI answers.
Tidio is the cheapest of the three for a small, quiet inbox, and the free plan has no equivalent at LiveChat. It gets expensive once Lyro handles real volume. If your chat is mostly social DMs rather than a website widget, our ManyChat pricing breakdown covers a tool priced for that channel, and the best chatbot builders roundup compares the wider shelf, including ManyChat.
Which Tidio plan should you pick?
- Under 50 answered chats a month: the free plan, with Flows for lead capture.
- 50 to 100 chats, one or two people: Starter on monthly billing until volume settles.
- More than 100 chats or a team that needs routing: Growth, at the tier that matches last month's answered chats.
- AI answering hundreds of chats: price Lyro against a Plus quote before buying the big self-serve tier.

How we checked these prices
Plan prices, conversation tiers, Lyro and Flows quotas, seat limits, the trial terms and the billing rules come from Tidio's pricing page and the plan data it loads, read on 19 October 2026 in its US-dollar view. Competitor prices come from Crisp's pricing page and LiveChat's pricing page, read the same day. Per-conversation costs and scenario totals are our arithmetic on those published prices, not invoices.
Toolradar figures come from its live chat ranking and Tidio profile, October 2026. Louis Corneloup, founder of Toolradar and Dupple, wrote this page. Our method is on how we rate, corrections on the editorial policy, and the author note on about. Tidio changes its plan data often, so check the calculator on its pricing page before you pay.
