๐Ÿ“น Instagram now lets you turn creator livestreams into ads LINK

  • Instagram will let brands pay to boost a creator's live broadcast as an advertisement, bringing a feature already on Facebook to Instagram and turning real-time creator streams into ad inventory for the first time.
  • Paired with Partnership Ads, Instagram Live Video Ads let a brand put paid spend behind a creator's active stream instead of depending only on the creator's existing followers to find it; Meta announced the rollout last week at the IAB's Global Creator Week.
  • The format gives creators a second revenue layer, since Meta's own guidance tells talent to pitch partnership ads as an add-on to brand deals and argues they can ask for higher pay because the brand's spend extends reach beyond their own following.
  • ๐Ÿ“Š Amazon says its ads deserve more credit for your sales LINK

  • Amazon says its ads drive more sales than it has been given credit for, with roughly a fifth of a brand's value on the platform landing after the standard attribution window of seven to 30 days has closed.
  • Amazon reached that figure by studying more than 2 million campaigns that ran on its ad products in June, and it is now using the results to argue for counting a full year of sales value.
  • The push comes as better upper-funnel measurement and AI-driven shopping pull money out of search, while TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and creators claim credit for sales that happen on Amazon.
  • ๐Ÿค– Meta's Muse agent can now run ads for small businesses LINK

  • Meta has added new skills to its Muse AI agent so it can run ads for small businesses, linking to Facebook Pages, Meta ad accounts, and Instagram professional account analytics in a few clicks.
  • Once connected, Muse already knows what a business sells, how its brand sounds, and common customer questions, and it can draft a campaign for the coming week after checking what is working and what is trending.
  • Muse for Small Business, available in the US and Canada, is free for most of what people need, with paid subscription plans for more, and Meta says more connectors and skills are coming in the months ahead.
  • ๐Ÿ” Google AI Overviews are back for big brand searches LINK

  • Google is now showing AI Overviews for searches on large brand names, covering companies like Reddit, Salesforce, Amazon, and Adobe, while skipping Google's own name and news publications.
  • Chris Long tested about 100 brands on X and found AI Overviews appearing for 93% of them, with most showing up lower on the results page rather than above the main company listing.
  • Adobe's Overview appears at the top of its results, but most brands see the Overview placed below their main page, and the pattern now reaches far more queries than when Long flagged it two years ago.
  • ๐Ÿ”Œ Reddit is cutting off your social listening tools LINK

  • Reddit is shutting down the open data feeds that many social listening, research and automation tools rely on, pushing developers toward a permissioned system that gives the platform tighter control over how outsiders reach its data.
  • The platform ends RSS support on November 13, 2026, requires approved apps and bots to register through its developer platform by January 12, 2027, and plans to close broad public API access in March 2027, citing large-scale scraping and automated abuse.
  • Marketing teams, agencies and researchers who track brand mentions, trends and early signals through lightweight or custom Reddit monitoring face a continuity risk, and should check whether their vendors use approved access, scraping, RSS or another method before the feeds stop.
