🔍 Google Search will now watch the web for you LINK
  • Google has begun rolling out AI Search agents, called information agents, that monitor the web for users and send updates through the Google app when relevant information about a tracked topic changes.
  • Running inside AI Mode, the agents scan sources like the web, financial data, sports scores, and social posts, letting people track flight prices, product launches, job openings, housing listings, or developing news stories.
  • First announced at Google I/O 2026, the feature is launching for AI Ultra subscribers, which starts at $99.99 per month, with users triggering it through prompts like "keep me updated on" or "alert me when".
🎬 MrBeast just made YouTube history LINK
  • Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, became the first YouTube creator to pass 500 million subscribers last Friday, building an audience larger than the combined populations of the United States and Canada.
  • His channel pulls 1.3 billion unique viewers each quarter, 80% of them outside the U.S., while Beast Industries earns an estimated $500 million to $1 billion a year from chocolate, toys, books, and other ventures.
  • The company treats YouTube as the top of a funnel and points its audience toward businesses the creator owns, a model now copied by creators like Mark Rober, Ryan Trahan, and Jesse Riedel.
🍗 KFC is reinventing itself to win the chicken wars LINK
  • KFC is launching a global brand evolution over the coming months that covers menu innovation, restaurant design, and a visual refresh, aiming to reassert itself in the U.S. and international markets as competition grows around fried chicken.
  • The strategy centers on tenders and the new Dunked menu items drenched in sauces, the expansion of the Kwench beverage sub-brand, and new restaurant designs, including an open-concept store in McKinney, Texas, and a two-story location in Dubai.
  • The rollout starts in the U.K. and Ireland this month before reaching Australia, the U.S., and more markets, building on KFC International's growth while U.S. same-store sales are down 2%, making it the third-largest market behind China and Europe.
🎮 EA launches in-game advertising platform LINK
  • Electronic Arts launched EA Advertising, a new platform that lets brands buy product placements inside games like EA Sports FC, Madden, NHL, Skate, and The Sims, much the way advertisers buy television spots.
  • The EA Sports side draws hundreds of millions of players each year across console, PC, and mobile, with 23,000 NFL seasons played daily in Madden NFL and over a billion matches a day in EA Sports FC.
  • Through dynamic placement, brands can inject products in real-time, buying stadium signage, targeted adverts, and custom in-game content, then update campaigns using ongoing optimization informed by aggregated engagement insights.

Strategies & Tactics

> Agentic Marketing: What’s the Big Deal and How to Get Started: Hand an AI agent a single goal and it runs the whole multi-step job, from launch copy to performance reports, while marketers approve key steps.
> Why marketers need both MMM & MTA in 2026: Combine marketing mix modeling for budget strategy with multi-touch attribution for daily tactics, since cookie loss and dark-social research make either method alone unreliable.
> The Cost of Link Insertions, Based on ~420k Sites [2026 Data]: Paid link insertions average $179 but 97.5% sit on low-quality sites, so manually pitching relevant authoritative pages works far better.
> How to Build a High-Performing Creative System at Scale: Explains how to keep finding new creative winners by mining social conversations for signals, testing organically before paid, and uniting creative, media, and data teams in one loop.
